Match We can be heroes part two Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester united UEFA Cup final. Bilbao 21st May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

1. Because it’s a great song
2. Because Dele meant more to us than just one player. He would shithouse and score winners against cunts like chelsea and score ridiculous worldies against Palace

He was everything we’ve always been and at the same time something we’d never been since the turn of the century. Of all players Dele represents that period of time at spurs more than probably anyone.
Maybe the lyric should change to ''We had Alli....''

In all of Uniteds big Europa League games this season they've been blessed with red cards to their opposition:
- 4-1 vs Real Sociedad
- 5-4 vs Lyon (Still almost collapsed in this against 10 men)
- 3-0 vs Bilbao (red card and penalty very early on, completely killed the tie)

I'm a very rational type, no time for superstition or "woo", but I'm making myself ill with obsessive thoughts about how the minutest of everyday decisions will have a bearing on the game.

In the supermarket I changed my usual preferred red wine for white and back again three separate times before reasoning that as we're playing in Spain and it's "tinto" here, my choice wouldn't affect our performance.

Still swapped out the red-and-white beers for all-white cans which cost 50% more.

Now I'm all gnarled up because I was considering not taking my dog out for his midday walk as I was too jittery, then breaking out in a cold sweat in case an invisible canine deity chose to punish me (and Spurs) for my negligence.

Superstition is old baloney...I've attended all our cup finals since the eighties apart from the ones we won!
I'm at home with my three sons tonight just like we were in 1991 and 2008!!
