Shadydan Shadydan can you name and shame all these negative nonces please.....you have a decent list. The last couple of days especially to do what they've done is outfuckingRAGEous beyond belief....

To feel it was an appropriate time time to come out of the woodworks and start spouting their anger at the club and the man himself at the helm.....just after what we've achieved.....Read the feggin ROOM for Christs sake.....

I was only naming the ones who proper got on the drinks sauce good sir.... :levyhands: :sonlol:

I can't tell you how much I've been loving reading about everyone's time there.

Out of curiosity, did you talk to many locals? I get the idea that they were sort of with us, feeing that they'd been cheated and, a couple of accounts I read, that United fans had condescended them or something like that.

I "know" an old (83 or so) Athletic fan from just up the river, only by telephone (a weird story for another day), he knows I'm a Spurs man and he phoned my wife to wish us all the best, I got the feel from him (through my wife) that they were all pro-Spurs.

Another blatant ‘I was there post’ (& still recovering….

I spoke to many locals - great recommendations for restaurants, learnt a bit of Basque etc. The overwhelming majority wished us well and genuinely seemed to want Spurs to win. At the time I perhaps thought they were telling me what I wanted to hear but in hindsight I’d think it was genuine.

Plenty of anti-Man Utd graffiti in town (the park near the Guggenheim) along with anti Rangers and Roma (who I’m guessing had played in Bilbao this season).

Obviously, an outstanding trip for football reasons but glad I got to see the city. Reminded me of Newcastle

Locals definitely pro us but that was probably as much cos Man U knocked them out- they love their football and their club - I loved Bilbao nice people nice vibe to the city / ordered a taxi at 5 am this morning to take us from the hotel to airport first thing the driver said spurs or united ? Spurs sh good it will take 15 min to get to the airport if we’d said united it would have taken 30 min / he then put Ozzie’s going to Wembley on the CD and gave us a run down on Spanish football smashing bloke😂

Getting his best moment in life with Spurs at 8 years old???

Spoiled cunt!

:dembelefingers:
Hahahahaha, I feel you.

I’m reminded of finding an old diary when I was cleaning out my mum's house, from when I was about 14. I'd had a date, I obviously thought it was a huge success (we never went out again), but there it was "the best day of my life". My first reaction on reading it as a 50-year-old was obviously a massive cringe, but then I thought...

Why ever not? That boy was ecstatic with emotion - me too, but he was there. My pathetic diary entry too, I was blissful. The rest doesn't matter, we all live for these moments, regardless if your 8 or 80. It's what joins us, fundamentally.

Just home from the parade. Yeah that was good fun. Stood round the corner by sports direct and although the buses went past pretty quickly we got a good view as we were front row by the barriers.

Lots of people but all good natured. Looks like an unbelievable amount of people watched the podium bit.
