Match We can be heroes part two Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester united UEFA Cup final. Bilbao 21st May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I've spent a very pleasant afternoon watching VTs of the NLD in HK and revisited the celebrations after the EL win. Still tickles me how Sonny goes round and tells everyone how he hit his forehead on the trophy.

Just had to drop in here to remind myself this actually HAPPENED and that it wasn't a fever dream...

The way the last 24 have played out, you'd have thought we'd lost in Bilbao AND got relegated!!!

How quickly football forgets...
FORGET transfers.... Forget Data led analysis, forget hijacked players...

We just won a MAJOR European Trophy!!

Bump it up baby!!!

Here is the one and only post by "super fan" Joanie in this thread

Because we're a bigger club. A higher profile club. With a bigger fanbase. If Chelsea or Woolwich had gone 17 years without a trophy it would be the same. There's no conspiracy, mate.

Just re-watched the highlights again, Still think somehow we gonna throw it away at the end! I know its goals that win you games but I also don't think Sarr gets enough credit for that performance and Micky VDV with the Kung Fu kick!
Found out too late that the Dutch team was staying at the Hyatt, as I would have loved to see Micky to thank him to his face for that clearance; it was as vital as the goal.

Wss buzzing all summer tbh when we won it. Mind you beating Woolwich in 91 semi was the biggest buzz. If we win the league at the emirates or beat them in the champions league final that would be the ultimate.
I was just a kid in 91 but still remember that match clear as day. Seemed like a massive, massive occasion. Historical especially being the first semi at Wembley.

The gooners had barely warmed up when Gazza cast his magic.

Ajax away was also special but Bilbao was such a huge release of pressure and disappointment.
