Yep, Sissoko is not shit but he is not the right caliber of player for us, he is technically awkward, his decision making is suspect and he doesn't offer much of a goal threat. I just don't get the signing still, despite wanting to get it. He would look expensive at half what we paid for him. Maybe once he's had time under Poch he will improve. Till then I just don't see him as a starter, or even a sub to be honest, given the other talent we have available.
Not only is it lighting candles for an injury & not death, but they aren't even lighting real candles.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a racist. What I meant was that Lamela should have stayed longer since his defense is a lot better than Son. I admit that I am not a fan of Son. He is too greedy. You know, he even tried to steal Lamela's penalty.

Didn't take our chances, which is a familiar scenario with us. Foster made a few decent saves, but we should have been ahead at half time.
We again had 8 shots on target out of 20 and converted 1.
They had 4 out of 8 and converted 1.
They know how to play against us. Don't know if they set up like this at home week in week out but it was pretty defensive. However, it really didn't work that well because their keeper saved them.
When we go away we usually defend high and close the space down in the middle and invariably score on the break. They played like the away team.
I just hope Alderweireld ain't missing for long because he will be a massive miss. He commands the defence and rarely puts a foot wrong. This will be a major test for us.

They will attack us and go for it, and that should suit us well. We want them to try to play football. It's when team don't try it (WBA) we suffer!
The annual draw with WBA has been and gone. Hate playing them.. Pulis is such a boring manager. Just sets teams up to not lose, must be awful to watch all season.

Negative: Pulis anti-football shows how teams can wear us down by double parking the bus and effectively destroying our game plan

Take the away point for sure. Cheeky finish by Dele. Too bad Spurs weren't more clinical in that first half but credit to Ben Foster. Man of the match by a good distance. Son seems like a must start for me. Puzzling decision by Poch. Bring on LC!
And Sissoko seems like a bad fit within any Poch s11. Definitely helps for depth purposes but that price tag merits much more.
