Match West Ham United VS Tottenham Hotspur - Wednesday 31th August, London Stadium 19:45

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We seem to play rivals/grudge matches every few weeks.

Conte is the first manager to realise we have to be cunts if we are to win anything.

Hope Cuti and Richy get stuck in tonight.

Surprised lots of you are leaving out Sanchez from the team.

He's probably in the best form of his career with us. The stats certainly indicate that.

I agree (regarding his form).
And I am happy we have such player to be called upon.

But Sanchez in his best form for us is still not as good as Romero, and difference in quality is visible.

So if Romero is fit and not fatiqued, we can thank Sanzhez for good games and put superior player into the squad. Maybe bit cruel but its is how it works.

No fan of Sanchez but he’s been defending really well. Romero is clearly miles better on the ball and a far more progressive defender and footballer but I think Sanchez will keep his place. Three changes tonight IMO - Son, Persic and Bentacuer

Romero is better overall player.
Romero is also better overall defender.

So if he is fit, he starts. If he is deemed unready, then Sanchez keeps his place.

Sanchez is way more of a reactive defender - he can cover his man and kick the ball from him. But Romero READS the game. He anticipates passes and movements and can cut them out, then distributes the ball well turning opposite team attack to our (counter)attack.

We're due a ''turn up". If the boys do it tonight it would be a huge boost and a huge message. We've been scrapping wins, let's have a ''Tottenham night''

4-1 (Kane, Kulusevski (2), Richarlison)
