I was here before Ange and will be here still after. Sorry to disappoint but my interest in Tottenham Hotspur did not start and end with the demise of Ange Postecoglou, much as you might like to think so. IN FACT I was rather hopeful things might go rather well this season, you can trawl through my post history and check for yourself if you like. Unfortunately at a certain point anyone with a pair of eyes and a functioning brain in their head could see that we were going down like the titanic under this manager and he needed to do one, pronto.

I think it's you that's going to be upset that you can't take up ridiculously contrarian positions in brazen ignorance of all factual evidence in order to rile people up in this forum for, oh, at least a couple of months when the season starts and the results start coming in. Then you can work out whatever position is going to piss the most people off and set yourself up as the strawman to wind people up like you seem to do with every single post you make.

Meanwhile I'll be here taking a keen interest in the team's progress under the next manager and what we can get done in the market. You should try to have a soothing bath and put on some nice ambient music pal, I think you're feeling a lot of unresolved anger over your dad-manager being sacked and you need to decompress.

Wherever he goes, I wish him every success.

Never understood the personal hate. It told me more about the people spewing it to be honest.

The guy gave me the best football experience of my life so far and I got to share it with my boy. I'll always be thankful to him for that.

I hope he is always made extremely welcome whenever he pops back to the club. He stuck up for us and called out the ridiculous narratives that we face.

Hope he enjoys a rest and then comes back to the game refreshed somewhere. I'll always keep an eye on what he does and cheer him on when I can.
