what I know about Najafi.

He is worth less than Uncle Joe. This isn’t going to be a Newcastle style takeover. No idea about his partners.

He was going to restore McLaren to its former glory. It hasn’t happened. Still waiting on that.

He’s part owner of the Suns. They’re a very good, small market team this year. No titles. I think they’re being sold after some controversy for a shitload (4b). I don’t know if he’s selling his stake but , if this is the case, he’ll have cash.

It's such a funny response for them to say they're committed to their long term plans when they have a DOF under indictment, the short-term-est manager on earth, a ticking time bomb contract situation with their 29 year old talisman, every transfer they excruciatingly squeeze over the line is some byzantine loan-to-buy and they're flirting with reappointing their old manager from four years ago just to stave off a fan revolt for one more news cycle.

There are no long term plans here Daniel. You're not fooling anyone anymore.

He said something in his fluff video about changes in the next 12-14 months. Probably going to put up the sausage roll prices again next season. The beers already gone up over 20% since we opened. Cost of living Innit !

According to the accounts match day revenue didn’t hit its expected targets. No fucking surprise given the state of the actual product on the field. Stadium game changer is correct. The product has been changed. It’s got a lot worse.

That might not be too bad though, if they're in for us. We don't need a sugar daddy, just someone willing to shake up how we do things. We have the income to not need a sugar daddy, and that's credit to how ENIC have done things but now we need someone who can harness this power.

As the thread says will he be better than ENIC? Clearly this has leaked while he is putting the deal together Meaning the details are sketchy. However much some want to be rid of ENIC we need some more assurances that this particular bidder is going to be better. We need to ask them the same questions ENIC were recently asked about the future.
1 it is not clear what is happening regarding the debt. It is not acceptable to either add to the debt or charge a higher interest rate.
2 what if any role will Levy play.
3 what if any money will be invested in the club for Footballing purposes.
4 what non footballing plans do they have
5 Does he plan to watch the matches like Levy or be absent like Joe?
6 Does he actually like football and in particular does he support any team in the PL ( it would be a nightmare if it comes out he supported Woolwich as a boy)

I am sure others could add to the list. The amount of the bid if both parties enter negotiations like everything Levy does will be long drawn out and the best outcome will be other bidders come in. I am on the Fence about this bid until I know a lot more about their plans.
 
It's not so much the possible money that's important, it's wether they have a plan and can keep to it. We have spent a fortune on a type of player (glc, ndombelle etc etc etc) who do not fit in with the type of manager we have brought in (Maureen Nuno Conte), Levy has been a disaster in the last 4 years but swapping one twat for another won't help. We need to know what their goals are, what their plans are.
 
Worth noting that Steve Nash, the greatest suns player of all time is a Tottenham fan. His dad is from Tottenham.

My point was t that they would have Levy stick around but more that if he did, it would be at their behest rather than his.

It's really encouraging though that all the mainstream media outlets like the BBC are now regularly picking up on and reporting the growing anti ENIC unrest within the fanbase.
Still green shoots maybe, but I have more hope for the future now than I have had for a long time 🙏
