Management Why are the club not calling out the PGMOL?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don’t think they see it because I don’t think we have enough footballing brains in the club. I think our board are too focused on the business side and if they’re seeing the same stuff us fans see then they don’t understand it. They should be all over this, but I don’t think they know how.
I’m pretty sure we had the longest serving CEO in Levy at the helm. He had 25 years of football management experience at the helm and it is hard to argue we weren’t successful in the first 15-20 of his tenure. We got rid of him (and to be fair, he lost touch with the changes in football where sports washing for illegal got gains became the norm) and replaced him with a 10 football executive from Woolwich.

If we get relegated virtually everyone of our first team and half our sub bench who leaves will go to CL teams. This is not down to ENIC, this is down to
1. Ange and Frank and poor management
2. Poor DOF decisions
3. Unprecedented injuries.
4. Poor refs and/or agenda by PL to make us go down.

Edit: the point is, there are no other clubs with the depth of experience in our senior management. The failure sits below them.

In our club, its seems as if we have too many wanna be Chiefs and not enough Indians involved in the decision making. Haven't mentioned the Gooner fifth columnists, who seem to be unequaled in the art of infiltration at this time.

We won 1 league cup :harrylol:

Ermmm....Appointed by Levy .:harrylol:

Why would the PL have an agenda to get rid of one of it's ever present and one of the highest revenue generating, one of the established Big 6, and one of the most globally followed football clubs and replace them with Hull..... or Milwall? :harrylol:

.
We are where we because we have the worst owners in the Premier League given our size, And because those owners, especially Daniel Levy, have for years used Tottenham Hotspur to build a multi sports and entertainment business and neglected the the actual football club that fattened their bank accounts while doing so.

You are talking about the PL like they are an independent authority like the FA. They are not. The PL is owned by the clubs and the board is made up of chairmen of the clubs. Spurs have been a thorn in the side of the other clubs for years wanting FFP/PSR and similar provisions to level the playing field and make the game sustainable. Why wouldn’t the PL chairmen want rid of spurs?

Also a “big club” being relegated suggests the game is healthy.

So I was bored and actually went through these and others and see if there was any common denominator across all them. The common names that kept cropping up were Stuart Attwell, Jarred Gillett and Robert Jones.

Then these 2 were specific to them being on VAR, James Bell and Craig Pawson.

Any idea if we have any of these for the run in?
Shock horror from the premier League. Jarred Gillett is ref and Craig Pawson is on VAR for our game against Leeds on Monday night. The Worst combination we could get.

What makes me think a lot about that is we have been awarded zero penalties on EPL. How is that even possíble? When you look at the games there's a lot of situations we should have a penaty, but it's never called.

My West Ham mate last night suggested it was because we're the "known" Jewish Club in the PL, that's where the hate & the iffy refereeing are coming from, has he got a point?

Interestingly, I have posted this a couple of times on this forum, and the admin has deleted the post.

If you want to seek out a conspiracy to relegate Tottenham - the fashionable anti-Israil / pro Palestine sentiment being pushed by the virtue signaling brigade would be a good candidate.

I'm surprised the FA haven't enforced all the premier league players to take a knee against Israel b4 kick off. Maybe next season huh.

I've only just stumbled on this thread . There are six of us that go up to the home and away games and the conversation on the way home has been around this subject on many occasion . I'm forever arguing with my brother , he goes on and on about the incompetence of the officials - but I tell him to get over it because we are powerless to do anything about it . If the club aren't going to do anything about it they're certainly not going to take notice of a bollocky dick supporter . I'm not burying my head in the sand , but we are paying the price of Pochettino's confrontation to Mike Dean . The fallout from that fateful confrontation has seen us suffer many a defeat , all at the hands of the people put in charge of our games . Pochettino was right to confront Mike Dean by the way - the mistake he made was he confronted him on the pitch - Therefore undermining the refereeing body . My argument isn't with the PGMOL . My issue is I don't think we should have English referees full stop . Bring in foreign referees that have no skin in the games . Decisions always go to the "Darling Red Tops" . Scum , Bindipper's and Manure have been getting preferential treatment for decades . It's just not been picked up on because other clubs know it won't do any good . I'm not excusing the officials behaviour , what I'm saying is that they've done it so often that they don't realise they're doing it anymore . They do a lot of it Unconsciously .

So what's the answer :- My opinion is that we have to go and win these games off our own backs because we certainly can't rely on the officials to get the decisions right . If our clubs owners and managers are going to stand for it then we certainly can't do anything about it . The club should form a dossier and submit it to PGMOL without prejudice . They won't read it of course , if they do read it they won't do anything about it . The FA needs to step in and call to order all at the PGMOL and make them referee without bias . ("Yes that made me laugh as I typed it") . In all seriousness we need to rise above it and accept it as part and parcel of the struggle to climb the greasy pole . We don't play in a red shirt , we are white - we are "lilywhite" .

When we win the league nobody can say we got there because the referees were in our favour , or we had a wealthy owner that bought (all the top talent) every sweet in the shop . We will do it off our own backs and with our own money .
