Be great to go unbeaten at home for the whole season.

The flip side is that by the start of December we will have only played 1 team out of the current top 10 away from home.
So quite a task lies ahead to remain unbeaten all season.

Ange last night, after the Palace win, "Dreams last until someone wakes you up."

All you melts need to get some sleep.

I think people are getting carried away here, it’s important to remain grounded in reality. We wont stay undefeated forever. Ange has been very clear that he sees himself on a Greek island when he is Roy Hodgson’s age so we can only guarantee staying unbeaten for the next 18 seasons, after that there is a chance someone might, possibly, beat us. Maybe. I know its hard to imagine but I think we should prepare ourselves for that small chance one day.

Otherwise agreed, but "8 out of starting 11 (or 12 if counting Bentancur was the team that Conte built" is far from reality.

Our current best starting XI is -
Vic; Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie; Bissouma; Sarr; Maddison; Kulusevski, Son and either Richie or Johnson. But lets go for Richie for now.

Vic; VDV; Madders; Udogie - already FOUR were added now. Conte had fuck all to do with Udogie, as he arrived after Parmesan Pulis left and is widely considered Paratici recruit;
Sarr and Bissouma - brilliant midfielders that were absolutely canceled by Conte and lost year of their careers due to that absolute cunt;
Son, Romero - both here before Cunty got his hands on the club with Romero having been hinting that he would have left if that breath of fresh death would have continued to suck life and happyness out of anything around him.

Sooo... we are left with... Porro, Kulusevski and Richie for now. But I have a feeling that Richie will be behind Johnson soon if things continue. And Bentancur will be back, to add. So I think it is fair to say actual Contrebution was 3 out of 11. So actually exactly opposite of proposed 8/11.
With 1,5 years.
Ange has shaped this team so much more - with 5 months 4 of arrivals have taken center-stage already.

So team that was rebuilt by Ange and nearly demolished by Conte.
No disrespect but that’s fairly disingenuous. The point is, the vast majority of the team were Tottenham players before Ange came in. Only Vic, VDV and Madders are new signings for a combined price roughly equal to Kane sale value. And we look like a completely different team.

Ange’s success reflects poorly on Conte. I reckon when Conte gets back into management if he is asked by press any questions about why Ange has been successful with his Spurs players, the answer will be hilariously scapegoating.

Ange is 52 games unbeaten at home. It’s up to the fans on Monday to make it 53
I think we’ll needs some players too
Oh I dunno, if we can stick 6,000 people in goal, then play a solid back 4,000 formation, with 2,000 holding CMs protecting them, then we can afford to have 25,000 people further up the middle of the park, spraying the ball out wide to the 4,000 wingers and play a 13,000 pronged attack, we might have a chance!!

+ that allows for a full quota of 6,000 to come off the bench if we need reinforcements!!!

....and yes, I rounded down!

Making our home ground a fortress is the building blocks to be successful. I think playing the better teams away from home suit us better as teams won’t sit in. Whether that’s a top team or not the we play a way that will hurt them. We will take goals off from he likes of the open teams like Brighton and Villa because they don’t have the pace defensively to play that way.

No club will go invincible again.

Competition is too close now.

Was easy back in the old days when Woolwich fluked it.
Would the points they got that season even get you second now though? Don’t get me wrong it’s great going the season without losing but if I remember correctly they had a lot of draws, they were playing not to lose where as now if you want to win the league you have to play every game to win!

Similar with Leicester winning season. Only 81 points and a lot of draws.
Only lost 3 games. Woolwich x 2 and Liverpool away. But only +32 GD

They had an awful lot of things work in their favour that season.

We’ve had a much better start than they did though. On target for a +90 season if we can keep this going.

Must be a great feeling to go onto training every Monday looking at the league table.
