Dunno. Ask for a sudoku spreadsheet. Unfortunately there's different rules between the English FA and UEFA. One thing they agree on is a maksimum 17 overseas trained players. I don't know if the English FA still has 4 club trained (at least, you can have 25 of these without a problem) and 4 trained in the English system rule, or if they just want 8 English associated now. Either how UEFA still wants 4 club trained and 4 associated as a minimum to register a full 25 man squad. The real difference is how they look at U21 players. In England anyone can paly under the age of 21 without being registered (so Bergvall fine here). But by UEFAs rules you have to be club trained to be an eligible under 21 player. You don't actually have to be club trained, I think UEFA allows U21 players who's been at clubs for 2 years to play, whereas club trained would be 3. So I don't know if someone like Soonsup-Bell would be free to play European football for us, without being registered or club trained, or if he's still missing 6 months with us. Hope they loan him straight back... He's got Richarlison, Gray, Son, Maddison, Johnson, Solanki, Werner all ahead of him. Unfortunately, I do not see him getting much game time.
You cant blame them for this one, hes a premier league player that's been offered a chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in the country on mega wages. Good luck to the lad, we've plenty of options (not as good) but good enough.
Great move for him personally and hopefully he can get himself a France call up. Personally I'm gutted.
That’s as upsetting as anything I’ve heard regarding player sales. I had Wilson down as our player with the highest ceiling. That lad can go to the very very top. I guess it appears spurs also realised this and gave us enough money that we had to sell.
Gutting we won't see him play for us again, bags of potential with a great career ahead of him.
His pace will, more than anything will be a massive blow, I just hope we've received a huge fee
He had Trippier on toast on his debut at SJP last year, let’s hope he now makes it big.
A real blow. I thought he looked quality against Luton and the type of player who would get us out of this division.

Odobert does not have to be included in the squad of 25 for the EPL.
EPL 16 NHG + 9HG = 25 maximum allowed.
So all our current players are eligible for domestic games.
In EL transferred U21s have to be included in the squad.
Maximum non club trained squad total is 21.
So with Odobert we now have a squad of 18 NHG and 8 Association players totals 26.
So we have to lose five players from the EL squad.
Phillips (loan), GLC, Reggie, Solomon (loan) will likely go leaving a total of 22.
My guess is Forster won't be registered for EL which would make the squad 21.

I've only seen him play a couple of times, but he impressed me each time. I suspect, and hope, he has a very high ceiling. This season is going to be fun.
I thought we didn't have anyone that can take a player on?

will correct me if I am wrong but Soonsup-Bell can never be classified as club trained but I believe next season he will have been at THFC for 2 seasons and can be included on list B for EL.If he gets a loan this season I still think that is the case.
Assuming we're doing the deal in pounds, not euros, that figure isn't far off the initial fee of £25 million plus £5 million add-ons that's being cited. It works out as €29.4 million plus €5.9 million at today's exchange rate.
