Player Wilson Odobert

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Very much like how two footed he is.

Having finally got to see some of the kid, I’m quite liking what I’m seeing. I like that he tracks back too. He also seems to compete in the air too. Could be a very good bit of business this by Lange.

He's one player who will be benefitting from a couple of extra games in international break.

Looking to be an excellent piece of business despite a few saying we only bought him from a relegated team, and ignoring his PSG past.

His 2 footedness gives us a options as to where he plays and is sure going to make if difficult for opponents to know which way he's going to turn - that's a great asset/attribute to have. I really like him despite the few appearances he's made for us so far.

It used to be Richarlison...but now Odebert seem to be the most skillful player at Spurs...

Micky van de Ven names Wilson Odobert as Tottenham’s most skilful player

Micky van de Ven claims that Wilson Odobert is the most skilful player in Tottenham’s squad and he has really proven that in training.

The Frenchman’s time in North London has been ruined by a hamstring injury so far, but since his return, we’ve seen some flashes of brilliance from the teenager.

Odobert, who cost £32m, netted twice against AZ Alkmaar to fire Spurs into the quarter-finals of the Europa League before his brace of assists for France Under-21’s against a strong England youth side.

When asked which player most deserves five-star skills on EAFC 25, Van de Ven told SpursOfficial on Instagram: “Wilson Odobert. Really quick with his feet, in training, one-versus-one you can see it – so I would say he would get the five-star skill moves.”

Meanwhile, Mikey Moore also agreed with the Dutch defender by adding: “Wilson. He’s got the best skills in the team so I would go for him.”

he did get shown the physicality levels last night, but thats all good.

theres a good player in odobert, he has the raw ingredients, it just need honing and he needs to improve his physicality (which will happen in time anyway). hes the most natural wide player at the club by far.
Agreed. he looks like a player whos barely played and football this season and looked to be honest, a bit low on confidence in a big game.

I'm really not as sold on him as others are. To me like Tel he's just a player excelling at youth levels currently with the odd flash in the senior game.

Obviously potential there but he could go either way.

Odobert's played so few games this season through injury, there is no way he's going to be match fit, he'll be some way off it and will still be getting more match fit at the tail end of the season.

Nor will his confidence levels be that high.

Bearing that in mind, his displays this season have been fine, clearly not up to speed and inconsistent varying between promising and good. Roll on preseason and next season to see him.

I thought he was poor last night. Doesn't have any end product. He got out muscled and decided to go into his shell. Another player in a long line of over paid weak wingers... I don't think you can say he hasn't played much and isn't match fit - he's been back since 16th Feb and has played 78 + 45 mins vs AZ, 85 + 14 for France U21 and 253 mins across 6 Prem Games. He's a good Championship player but that's about it. If he's anywhere near our first team next season we truly are fucked!!!
