I don't think you understand the difference between being 'match fit' and 'medically/physically' fit - he's played more than 45 mins in just 3 PL matches since coming back and a match in EL for example. So no way is he match fit.

I respectfully disagree... if he's not match fit after contributing minutes across 10 matches plus training then he has no right calling himself a professional
Can you lads not see how the wheel of shit keeps spinning from player to player under this coach? But that aside Anges incompetence a side. The cretins banging on about rebuilds did not seem get that culling senior internationals and dumping a load of under 21 and development players in the first team is NOT what a rebuild looks like.

You cannot write players off in this tragic system where it appears nobody looks to have had any kind of training for more than a year.
It looks from the video's we see, that they just play crossbar challenge most days.
Great point , one constantly overlooked. We have some very good players but they are not receiving good coaching (if any).
We all agree Ange is a problem but I refuse to accept these players are blameless. To a man (baring Gray and Bergvall) they have shirked every 50/50, 40/60 and 30/70... none of them would get anywhere near prime Poch XI or for that matter prime Redknapp XI. If you think there is decent players in this squad then I'm sorry to say you've been gaslit into accepting mediocrity. The best we have is a couple of promising youngsters... the rest... not good enough!!!
I’m getting very tired of every young player we have being hyped as a potential star based on the odd moment of quality. This guy might be a decent player. He’s not going to be the next Thierry Henry. At best his ceiling is that of decent squad player.

Mate I get we are all down .. but it's far too early to be THIS pessimistic. The lads back from injury and he's 20. Moments of quality was all we got from Bale at this age. Hank Tough.
*shrug* It’s a total toss up. Could massively develop, could not. It’s really hard to predict, if it wasn’t every club would just buy a bunch of rated youngsters. Talent development is so hard to predict.
People seem very sure we have players who will be this and that and I promise you in many cases it is wrong. The graveyard of promising young talent is very large. Some of them fall off a cliff then 3-4 years later find their feet again.
What the club appear to have done is a scatter gun tactic of signing lots of kids and thinking this is a really smart, canny strategy. I have a suspicion it will end up wasting the talent and condemning us to lots of crap seasons.
The bolded isn't helped by the fact that the bulk of these youngsters are all natural left wingers, who can play on the right, but so far none of really looked comfortable.
We've now got Moore, Tel, Odobert, and Yang as 'potential' players, while Son is still getting the bulk of the minute in that position. Meanwhile on the right we've got Johnson and Kulusevski, the latter looking more comfortable centrally.

Injuries are part and parcel but the same type and with young players. Brutal.
And of course it's to a player who had begun to look at it.
im hoping it is just him being worried about a bit of tightness as he's just come back from a long lay out so is probably overly paranoid and worried about his hammie
