Not sure if I didn't expect that, or if I did. Whilst I love big Ange I do think he needs to be a bit more pragmatic at times.
I don't mean changing the playing style, but just toning it down a bit in certain circumstances.

Why I hope Ange gives the youngsters a chance, the ones coming into the team now haven't really got a future @ the club.

And this is where Ange dare I say it has it a bit wrong. Playing from the back looks good with VDV, Udogi and Romero. But Dier, Davies(though he played well today) and Royal just can’t do it. We lost the ball in dangerous positions so many times and sometimes you just have to clear it up the pitch. In the end it cost us

You can call the waybin which the equaliser came about unlucky yeah, but if you cede the game to the opposition for the best part of 90 minutes then you can't be surprised when they eventually get their shit together and score.
I should fucking hope that Ange doesn't need a second bite of the cherry to realise that going with Dier/Davies at cb and a midfield trio of PEH/Biss/Sarr is entirely counterproductive to his policy of being brave and front foot.
