Newcastle paid £65m for Isak.

Who was a big gamble with a very up and down scoring record in Spain that may not have adjusted to the EPL at all:

21/22 - La Liga - 32 apps - 6 goals.
20/21 - La Liga - 34 apps - 17 goals.
19/20 - La Liga - 37 apps - 9 goals.

Could easily have bombed at Newcastle and as it was spent his 1st season there in and out injured.

22/23 - EPL - 22 apps - 10 goals.

He thinks both teams were quite even....lmao. Honestly, we have some clueless fans out there.

Oh for crying out loud,

"Yes I know the Titanic is sinking and we're drowning towards certain death. But I suspect the reactions won't be reasonable... They'll drag up the inherent structural flaws of the ship (not the iceberg).. but based on the first 4 days of sailing, I thought the voyage was pretty successful. Not quite staying afloat enough for the final third of the journey though."

They are exhausting.

Yeah I'm not convinced mate. Under Ange i think there is a real possibility, or at least us being involved in a dogfight, and even that is just completely unacceptable.

Ange isn't even going to get to the cup games unless he starts winning in the league. Do you honestly think he is making it to the SF game if he loses on Sunday?
I do.

I thought he should have been sacked at the end of the season. It was obvious that he was not up to the task, despite the fast start when his "no tactics just press and attack" was sussed out. I said as much then.

I definitely think he should have been sacked after Ipswich, and cried out for it.

At this point I think it's clear ENIC arent sacking him while he's still in the EL. It's the only way to salvage this season and prevent catastrophe. I don't think anyone believes relegation is a valid concern, and ENIC will act accordingly.

Nonsense. We were missing 3 of our starting back 4 + our starting GK.

At one point Ange was favouring Bentancur over Bissouma too.

DJ played as well if not better than Udogie and has done so on either the left or right.

"At one point" means nothing, Ange had used Bentancur, Biss, Maddison, Sarr, for most of this season, so in short we were Micky and Romero short.

If you truly think that when Micky and Romero come back and then all of a sudden this shambles starts to look electric then you are very much mistaken.

By the numbers:

AngeBall

30 points from a possible 84

Most defeats in the first 21 games in our PL history

Just 3 wins in last 14

4 points from 24 against: Leicester, Brighton, Palace, Ipswich, Fulham, Bournemouth, Forest, Wolves.

Lowest PL position in sixteen years.

But ho-hum we have injuries.

I know Andy Peaks pretty well from his playing days at Rushden, and he told me that on Sunday he saw (and knew) there would be no "up and at em" from Spurs, no hunger or desire.

Tell me he was wrong.

There is no hiding place in the injury list. Everyone bar Liverpool has had a horrific season in that respect yet we only look at that problem in regard to the “top clubs” . Truth is Spurs have been shipping goals like no tomorrow when Romero and Van Der Ven were fit. Ange says we will play my way (Angeball) cos that’s who we are. Well tonight I saw no evidence of that while we defended on the edge of our penalty box for almost all of the first 45. Son’s goal was lucky because they had numerous shots which went clear with a block while Son’s went in. The second half was a joke. Nothing to lose so let’s throw on a few more forward thinking players, miss out our midfield and try to press their back 4. It looked slightly better but they were rampant at times. Heaven forbid they had a Haaland, Henry, Lewandowski, Osimhen type player they would have scored 8 or 9.

Dude... please - use the return button for the love of god or I'll have to report you to the feds as a likely serial killer 🙏
