So then every ref that allows the corner to be taken is wrong? So every ref does it means it's right is it? Great logic lol
Stop your nonsense, you cry at every little thing, don't want to hear anymore from you, thanks![]()
Usually with worldcups we all know who will come out of the groups (except for maybe 1 'group of death) and its a borefest until it gets to the last 16. This time it has been much better in that regard. All the smaller teams seem to be more competitive putting in very decent displays.Like all the groups are competitive up to the final day and we've had a whole bunch of amazing, high scoring games with a few big shocks thrown in.
What more do you want?

What I do know is that it’s either one or the other. Can’t be that the ref doesn’t allow the corner to be taken only when he feels like it.
If it's not in the rules that means it's subjective and down to them - that doesn't mean they're wrong, you should learn the difference.
Fair, but if 99% of refs interpret the subjective decision one way and the other 1% another way, he’s wrong. Refereeing is about creating fairness and consistency for the players… it’s not a competition to see who can ref the best.If it's not in the rules that means it's subjective and down to them - that doesn't mean they're wrong, you should learn the difference.
He’d probably cry though. And South Korean fans would get upset that they dropped their hero. Won’t happen. Just hope we can sell him for some money before it’s too late.

Because there was a 1+ minute injury and a sub in the added time. I am done discussing after this post.If refereeing is about creating consistency and fairness then why would it be fair on the Ghana players if he decided to add on more time which had already been allotted?
Neymar injured.
Brazil replace him with Fred rather than Jesus or Martinelli.

After a 101 minutes, that 1 extra corner isnt a big deal. We've been over this...
The board showed 10, they ended up playing 11.
It's worth remembering that what they show on the board is the "minimum" stoppage time allowed for. We've been over this...

Nonsense..Remember what referee clive thomas did ? He let brazil take the corner and blew for full time while the ball was in the air .It's worth remembering that what they show on the board is the "minimum" stoppage time allowed for.
Even if it was a solid 10 mins, as the others have said, a minute of rolling around plus a substitution (which I believe is a minimum of 30 seconds allowable), that means that there was still around 30 seconds available, more than enough time to allow the corner to be taken, see how the play develops, then blow if nothing comes of it.
Taylor was absolutely in the wrong here, the corner should have been allowed.
