DoneThis forum is littered with plenty of posts over the years from arseholes wishing we'd lose games to get a manager sacked. I'm sure some feel the same about Ange and winning the EL.

Wanting to lose in the Europa League at this stage would be a baffling level of self-hatred from any Spurs fan IMO, we have already suffered being the absolute laughing stock of the Premier League for the last 8 months, winning a trophy is about the only thing that could prevent a massive black shadow being cast over this season and the immediate future of this club. Ange is a dead man walking in any event, we can all see that, you don't get away with a league campaign that bad with a team with our resources regardless of how well you do in the cups. The tangible benefit for the team of winning a major European trophy together, especially with so many in our squad being so young, would make it worth giving Ange more time if that were the only way to achieve it, even if that only amounted to up to the start of October in the league and any ropey results see him immediately sacked.
The far more likely event if we won Europa league would be a mutual parting of ways, Ange leaves with his reputation somewhat upheld, his "win thing in 2nd season" bollocks vindicated, and a far higher likelihood of finding more gainful employment in a league people actually give a shit about. Tottenham breaks its trophy duck and gets to search for a manager that doesn't have to put up relegation form in the league in exchange for cup runs. Carrying on with Ange after this season will be a massive mistake regardless of what happens, we only have to look at the way United have completely wasted a season by persisting with a dead man walking in Ten Hag and shaping their summer window's business around him staying. Surely we aren't stupid enough to repeat that mistake the very next season?

I'd rather fart and follow through than continue with Ange next season; under any circumstances.
If Spurs had hired Ten Hag and won two domestic cups and a CL spot, we'd have been more likely to erect a statue than to sack him.
I'm not sure it's really an option unfortunately...but it is a vague dream that almost certainly wouldn't happen imo

No I'd rather win it but not at the expense of keeping that fucking fraud for next season, that would be a massive price to pay.

Whatever they say every person on here wants this cup look at the wankfest Spam got for a lesser trophy and the recent wankfest in Newcastle.
This is a very decent trophy.
Postecoglu will go whatever the outcome but I don't think we are good enough to beat the teams left even if we get through the QFs.
