He’s obviously started very badly, let’s just hope that he can adjust. Coming to the PL from the Bundesliga is an absolutely massive leap. Even players like Salah struggled at his age.

I'm one of those that thinks players from outside of our league shouldn't be thrown directly into the starting lineup.

Kid obviously has talent, loads of it. You don't achieve what he done so far in his career if you're shite. But fuck me, TF needs to unlock it cause so far he's been proper rubbish.
Attitude is questionable in terms of his ego, yeah...but love how the kid tracks back and puts tackles in. You do that, even if you don't assist or score, you'll always have my respect...unlike you, Brennan.

Need that kind of attitude in his game, like chelscum young players, not when subbed. Then I'm fine.
But still, he's only 22. With such huge reputation. Need to give him time.
I think the speed and physicality of the prem has come as a shock.

He does look a bit of a lightweight atm...needs to work on his upper body strength a little...too easy to push of the ball just now...
I thought he grew into the game today. His brain fart in the first half, when he had a number of options to set up a goal chance and blew it, made it seem that he was worse than he actually was. In the period before he came off he was increasingly effective, I thought. He'll come good, in time.

Yep. Players like him and Wirtz don’t become bad over night. It’s an unforgiving league.
Mostly this because there are still no guarantees that good players overcome the challenge.
It's now a matter of their managers, their mental fortitude and a bit of luck.
But ultimately they are one player amongst a wider pool. Nothing more unless proven and sometimes a lot less.
I don't think 433 is the right formation for this squad.
We have strong CBs and actually Porro, Udogie and Spence can be good WBs. We don't have good wingers aside from Kudus and teams know that so they double up on him.
