Played well - laughed & made faces at the camera - for the complete lack of personality he has in Pressers/Pitch Side/Promo interviews he does darn show it on the pitch!
His Zesty goal celebration was fukkin hilarious! it seems his confidence is rising which I want to see! If he keeps this shit up he may dethrone Spence as my favourite player!
Also I REALLY want to buy his boots! - It seems he wears the Puma King Ultimates or the King 20's - fukkin nice boots ngl!

Yeah. For me, he has the attitude of van der Vaart without the end product. I don't like players who celebrate too much too early - it only works if they are actual match winners. The reason he stands out is because most of our players are low on confidence so to have someone with a higher belief is not always a bad thing, probably better than being too low on self-worth, but it's just beyond his actual talent level.
Never hides. He is clever how he takes himself out if the game to get into the game. We just need more clever footballers that can find him when he does that and he can then be free to create.
There’s fuck all space to find players firstly because there’s not great movement in front of him and secondly by the time we get the ball to him the game is so congested it then becomes an eye of the needle pass.
He’s played one great weighted pass into Muani last night in the first half that no other player apart from Maddison in our squad would see or try.
Get the right players in the team behind him and in front of him and he’ll be our best player.

A couple of outside the box goals will open things up for him.
It makes the opposition have more to think about. Smash one or two in they'll be reluctant to stand off. Which then creates a chink in the armour.
Comparing them the first touch, the weight of pass are night and day ... Xavi needs to study every piece of Luka film he can get his hands on.

There's no training what Modric can do. It's all mental. He's the smartest footballer I've ever seen in my life. There's no one even close to what he can do.
The only comparison to be made is at their same stages of the Spurs careers. Modric was deemed an absolute flop - lightweight, and lost - for his first 6 months. That begins to change when Redknapp takes over and Luka gets used to the league.
Also comparing Simons to the best midfielder the world has probably ever seen is... a little futile.

You can compare Xavi to Modric, or Modric to Ardiles or Ardiles to Gallagher. Or Gallagher to Craig who just came back from an injury for the yoot tonight.
Or Modric to Craig.
