Really don’t get why Sarr hasn’t earned a start.

Agree on Son as well. He won’t be fresh for Frankfurt now so what’s the point of Tel signing if you can’t play him vs Southampton?
 
His team selection against Fulham when the following match was 18 days away looks like a complete joke now. He was refusing to start Maddison and Bergvall in midfield, while also taking Romero off at the 70th minute despite him playing so well.

Now, with the biggest match of the season right around the corner, he goes with an almost full strength squad against one of the worst teams of the EPL era.

He’s out of his depth no doubt but the team needs a win for their confidence. Every time he’s tried to be clever and rested big players we’ve lost, get this game wrapped up then you can take them off.
 
Only thing I'd say is this group of players badly need a confidence boost. If this is the team to play on Thursday then we need to see some patterns of play today and try to score some goals before the frankfurt game.
I'm not against playing a strong team today. But I would have liked to see Gray for Bentancur.

The three promoted sides who are all going straight back down will cumulatively probably post the worst ever performance of relegated teams in the 140 year odd history of the Football League. We’ve already contrived to lose at home to both Ipswich and Leicester this season. Chasing the hat-trick today at home to Southampton.
