I think there’s worse places to make that mistake and we have plenty of players who do, and it shouldn’t have been as lethal as it ended up, but he’s does make those kind of decisions sometimes.

I just think for 25m you aren’t getting Rodri. You are either getting Bissouma or you’re getting 18yo Rodri who will still make the odd mistake.

I’d prefer to ride with the 18 year old. At least I would if I didn’t expect Levy to sell them as soon as they reach Rodris level
 
For some reason with Bissouma I always think about the interview Richy and Emerson did with that Brazilian bloke where they talked about him being loose and how they wouldn't take him to Brazil because he would get arrested for getting up to no good, they were relaxed and having fun but there was something in their joking that stuck because they were serious too.

It's the experienced players like Biss that are letting the team down. He is talented but it's just not happening with him, he is moody and inconsistent , and imo a new manager will have the same problems with the player.

It's shocking how much of the team needs major surgery. I thought it was mainly the attack but the midfield needs changing as does some parts of the defence.

Bissouma, Bentancur and also id say Maddison need moving on. Big letdowns.
 
Don't particularly rate bissouma but I feel sorry for anyone trying to play a DM role in this side with the complete lack of structure

Those who rated Bissouna know who they are.

It's always right to give a player and a manager enough time but this is not something that will change with this bloke.

I said he would let us down last night. It's not even a difficult prediction.

To keep playing him is simply like playing Russian roulette.

Ha what? Rodri is the architectural type who could play this DM role with ease, he's anchored the midfield with his full backs bombing up the pitch and going into midfield, he's played as an anchor with his CB splitting and he's been the deepest player to receive the ball.

He has the touch and the passing range and the IQ to get out of situations that our DM's find themselves in in this setup.

Horrible example.
