Player Yves Bissouma

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Looks like Bissouma is being trained by the guy who wrote Game of Thrones.

I just wonder how players can be so attached to a so mediocre manager.

They won a trophy together, it’s perfectly natural. Ange’s football ideas were daft but he’s clearly got something special as a man manager.

Most sets of players would turn on their manager and down tools long before the 22nd defeat but they always kept trying hard to follow his instructions. Even when it made them look stupid. He’s definitely capable of inspiring people, if only that ability had been married to some sensible football it might have worked out.

TBF he did shield a lot of them from criticism.

Bissouma, on the whole, has been less than bang average under Ange, from my observations. Only time I feel like he criticised him was over huffing gas (whatever that 'party drug' was), and he didn't really seem to discipline him much.
I have a feeling that's he's popular with them for that reason alone. I mean, 17th in the league and still getting praise. Conte would have burned the club to the ground by then

Making good on the "I always win things in my second season" claim, getting Sonny his trophy, winning the fans back and having such a glorious week-long experience with the final and celebrations understandably brought this group together.

Hoisting silverware in the end was a feeling of vindication within the dressing room because that's how sports and human beings work.
