Tottenham should consider a move for Ciro Immobile this summer as the Lazio striker would be a superb addition for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham supporters will be delighted on how the club has handled their summer transfer business so far this window.

The North London club have added Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke to their ranks, but their summer acquisitions are far from finished.

The club’s need for a new centre-forward is clear to see and the signing of Immobile would be a shrewd piece of business.

Tottenham cannot afford to rely on England international Harry Kane next season, especially with Fernando Llorente set to be shipped out of the club.

Reports have claimed Llorente has grown tired of playing second fiddle to Kane and betting odds of 1/1 (2.00) via Amazing Bet makes the likes of Arsenal, Everton and Crystal Palace the absolute favourite to sign the Spaniard this summer.

And with this in mind, Tottenham needs to consider a move for Lazio hitman Ciro Immobile has a replacement to Llorente.

Ciro Immobile has been in red-hot form for Lazio over the past two seasons, racking up an impressive 59 goals and 21 assists across 92 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions, which would make him a superb addition for Tottenham.

Immobile is even more effective when playing in and around the 18-yard box, and he would add a real level of potency to Tottenham’s attacking play.

The 29-year-old is a strong centre-forward can find the back of the net off the shoulder of the last defender, and his arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium would undoubtedly help bring out the best in Pochettino’s more technically gifted players.

According to a report from The Mirror, the British tabloid claims the Lazio striker could be sold for £45 million, and considering today’s day and age, this would be a shrewd piece of business for Spurs and represent decent value for money.

The only issue that could deter Spurs’ move for him will be the Italian’s age. Immobile is set to turn 30 in February next year, but despite this, the Italy international could take Tottenham’s to another level next season as they would want to sustained push for the Premier League title.

Elsewhere, Leicester City have completed the club-record signing of Tottenham Hotspur target Youri Tielemans from AS Monaco, according to The Guardian.

The midfielder takes City’s summer spending to nearly £80m by signing a four-year deal, with the fee believed to be about £40m.
