Over £300m spent in Rodgers' time, you should be winning the league really.

Makes our business look very good indeed.

All that to finish 8th, no European football and no trophies.. Imagine finishing behind West Ham?

: ostrich:

Imagine the wankathon if they had snuck in the backdoor to the Champions League? They have been distinctly average this season with occasional showings in some matches. Their celebrations in beating Norwich 5-4 FFS, you'd thought they had won the league that day.

Sevilla whilst only finishing 7th in La Liga were already back to back holders of the Europa League. Whilst also winning it for a 5th time last night.

Now I have no love for West Ham, but...
Compare the coverage of half a dozen of theirs throwing bottles at the Man u coach last Tuesday to the total lack column inches of Scousers having a tear up last night?
I wonder if their chairman blames others for this like John Smith did over Hysel

Not wrong. Did you see also when they drew at home against WBA? Klopp and all the players joined hands and saluted the Kop. Wankers.

It would have been awful had they won. The amount of noise they make about them being back is unbearable. Glad they lost.
They still believe they are a giant of football but yet we've finished above them 6 out of the last 7 years.

Klopp does not have a complete philosophy (hope for him it's not complete) he's still very much a manager in development it's been fine so far as he's had relative amounts of success with what he's managed so far but in the end there's got to be more to Klopp's tactics than intense pressing, he's struggled to formulate a proper plan B not just at Liverpool but Dortmund as well and it should be quite worrying from a Liverpool fans point of view for the long term as proven by his final year at Dortmund when they had a disastrous season and he couldn't wake them up. Last night he was doing his regular dramatics trying to get the crowd to lift the players after they conceded but what was he himself doing to help the players?

People love young(er) managers who build teams that excite but there has to be progress at a certain level, take Roberto Martinez for example does anyone think he's a better manager for his spell at Everton? I don't think so, where ever he'll go next it'll be the exact same with him neglecting anything to do with defense and unless Klopp adds something else to his tactical artillery he'll be nothing more than a funny motivator who's teams go out and try pressing the oppo off the park while he he throws up hand gestures to the crowd.

TBF Liverpool are a giant of world football in the PL only Man U compare but their recent history ie the last decade has been very average and their lack of CL football makes their big club status fade quite severely in the minds of players especially those they might want to sign.

No, no, no. It was the Seville fans & those Basel thugs ganging up on the heroic Scousers. "Everywhere they go..."

There are bad players then there are player who are so bad they're like an actual cancer on the team and the longer they stay in the more long term damage they will do. Mignolet, Lovren, Morena are such players, Klopp should have been binning them before his plane touched down.
