In theory, they could complete the current section that's being worked on, tear down the entire north stand, seat fans in the new section behind it, and they'd still be closer to the action that most of West Ham's season ticket holders..

Used to enjoy going there, think i only missed two games there between 1979-2006.
Won't step foot in that place they're at now. :dembelefingers:

As much as you can't keep people going in to tatty buildings, with limited capacities, the classic 'four stand' stadium seems to be much better for atmosphere to me. I like to be able to see outside of the stadium from inside the stadium, rather than be surrounded by seats in all corners.

I don't know why that is, I think I just like to feel like I'm watching a sport rather than an event, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

I hope our glass uppers will allow that feeling a bit more. I get that you can get another 20% capacity by using the corners, and I also understand the whole acoustics that you get from an enclosed pitch, but it's just my feeling as a fan.

Nothing quite like an Autumn evening game, with the sun visibly setting in the corner of the stadium.

Wrong sport, but kind of like this
