Stadium Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As much as you can't keep people going in to tatty buildings, with limited capacities, the classic 'four stand' stadium seems to be much better for atmosphere to me. I like to be able to see outside of the stadium from inside the stadium, rather than be surrounded by seats in all corners.

I don't know why that is, I think I just like to feel like I'm watching a sport rather than an event, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

I hope our glass uppers will allow that feeling a bit more. I get that you can get another 20% capacity by using the corners, and I also understand the whole acoustics that you get from an enclosed pitch, but it's just my feeling as a fan.

Nothing quite like an Autumn evening game, with the sun visibly setting in the corner of the stadium.

Wrong sport, but kind of like this

TL:DR is basically this
:vdvdive:
Funny, but I don't like to see outside the ground. I mean the current WHL is a 4 stander, but I like the enclosed feel. What do you think of the 'million seater' Nou Camp?

I must confess to being a tad confused. The new 'Interactive' map of the Ground, and btw I think the phrase they were looking for is ' Absolutely, in no way whatsoever, is this an Interactive map,' it shows the route to my seat - that is a seat next to the abyss, lacking atmosphere, in all fucking weathers, and you can fuck off if you think you're getting a 12.5% rebate on your Season Ticket, seat - via the Park Lane/ Worcester Avenue.

Yet on the 'Ground Plan' it shows a Pedestrian Route through the Paxton, ala last season. Perhaps this is reserved for people who have been recompensed, due to 'Lack of Atmosphere' even though they will not be hanging over the edge of the fucking stand this year, to the tune of 12 and a half fucking Per Cent.
Would anyone be so kind as to elucidate for me?

Theres 12.5% in for you.

Or rather , there isn't.

Been to a couple of ball games there. Good tailgating scene.

Also, they appreciate a good cockerel badge.

Have you asked the club? Just in case they've knocked your seat down by administrative error

Fucking hell.....calm down, I'll happily buy you 100% of a pint from from my rebate. :king:

OK fuck it, I am curious so I'm gonna ask. What the fuck Is a "tailgating scene"?
Like Joe said.

Put the tailgate on your car down, serving a massive spread of game-day food out of your trunk. Pop-up barbecue grills are out and the beer and liquor flows in the parking lot as you pop back and forth between various people's tailgates, visiting to munch down on hotdogs and burgers in the hours before the game starts. About 15 minutes before the game starts people pack up and start heading inside, then the party continues after the game if the result is worth celebrating.

Give me a pub and a packet of pork scratching and i am happy

I've been to America and I sure I've seen pubs there. So why drink in a carpark
Because you can't fit 60 or 70 thousand people in a pub, and everything around the stadium is cleared out for parking. We don't have train links or public transit between cities for games; everybody drives in that isn't more than a mile or two away from the stadium to begin with, and they're all students in the college game.

Most games are very far away from the bar scene, so we bring the pub to the game, basically. It's fun.
