Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Having these nothing clubs raise their game against you is something we will hopefully have to get used to and then overcome.
Does make you think about how good the late 90s and early 00s Man Utd were when people like us were mid table but would see beating them as season defining.

West Ham fans really have done very well in recent years. They've managed to establish themselves as a solid, mid-table premier league team. They are to 2017 what Charlton were in 2006. Fair play to them!

The growing animosity from Leicester fans is another one. A small part of me is glad that the vermin have spoiled our party, because the Leicester fans where creaming in their pants about having the opportunity to ruin it for us.

Not sure where it's come from tbh, we've had a few games full of needle, but hardly anything to generate the sort of vitriol i've seen coming from them the last couple of weeks. Of course we were the only team that came anywhere near to spoiling their "fairytail" last year.

Stoke is another one, they fucking hate us. The Danny Rose thing, what the fuck?

I couldn't give two fucks. The more hated we are, the better. It must be so painful for these rivals to see how far we have come, in such a short space of time. I pity any club that can only raise its game above abject mediocrity a couple of times per season. For us, mediocrity was Friday night, having won the last 9 off the bat. It happens... Maybe half a dozen times a season, rather than 2 games out of every 3.

The Leicester one really annoys me. They got way above their station last season and instead of being humble about what they were experiencing they started getting obnoxious towards the end.

One flash in the pan fluke if a season in no way makes them our rival. I think they're trying to cling onto it in a desperate attempt to stay relevant in some way.

Listening to The Game podcast this morning - James Scowcroft was at the game and said he's never seen such hatred and desire to beat another team than from West Ham and their fans. Said it was bizarre that everyone there hates us so much and the carnival atmosphere afterwards. Basically called out their fans and players for only raising their levels for one game when they've been shit all season.

He also noted that there is a general anti-Spurs undertone right through the London clubs and that we have to play more difficult and intense derbies than anyone else.

He's a Man United fan from Bury St Edmunds, so he has no allegiance or agenda.

Does anyone think that it might be something to do with Levy and his hard ball attitude?
Not that I give a fuck!!

Got a chav and a scum cpl of drinking partners and I've asked them and they both said it's because we Spurs fans have such a smug, superior attitude with no trophies to back it up
I couldn't argue with the trophies part but cerebrally speaking we are higher up the evolutionary scale than the likes of any other London club (that went down well) and, as for the four Scouse n Mancs clubs, .........:levylol::pochunimpressed:

I think it was there anyway, but Levy has added to it,certainly with the Essex boys. They blame him for the fact they don't own the Olympic stadium

they all sing from this hymn sheet which is bizarre because we were the ones trying to knock it down and rebuild it The mouthpig Brady was the one hyping up the stadiums use as a "world class iconic multi purpose venue " etc and a law was passed that the track must legally remain shortly before the collapse of the first bid , there is no way that those dildo boys were going to buy that stadium and pay the 300 million conversion fees to end up with that soulless bowl completely wiping out any profit from Upton Park and any potential financial value the shitbowl adds to West Ham.

Getting slightly bored of this hatred discussion. What's our complaint exactly? That its not fair that teams raise their game against us but drop a level for other teams? Cmon that's straw clutching! Simple fact is, we want to beat our opponent, our opponent wants to beat us. Everything else is irrelevant.

Ahem...Spurs fan attacks fellow supporter in 'Chelsea mix-up' - BBC News

I would like to know where all these Smug Tottenham fans are? Nearly every spurs fan I know is always expecting the wheels to come off at any time, the gallows humour is popular around WHL.

Not that I care one iota what other supporters think of us but maybe 3 trophies won in 26 years and yet we still fill our ground, fill our away allocation and continue to grow as a club off the field is making some envious or jealous? Maybe it's the old Jew stereotype, I don't know, scratch away and it soon comes to the surface with certain clubs fans.

I enjoy a laugh at other clubs, it's all part of the banter and bloody hell, we have had to endure more than enough in recent years! I have mates who all follow other London clubs and it's always great piss take material, I don't hate spam or Chelsea, I dislike the latter and sections of their support for the myths about what they were before oil money, spam are just an irrelevance, the clubs are not on the same level, never have been or never will be, that's why it means so much to them, I saw it as annoying that we dropped 3 points against one of the poorer premier league clubs. The only hate is that shower of shit from south east London who are parked down the road

We really do seem to be disliked by a lot of clubs. It's weird , all yids I know generally fear the worst & expect us to slip up somewhere along the line yet I constantly read about us being being deluded or arrogant. As for the current squad, they seem to keep themselves to themselves.

Baffling really . If it's jealousy then it's also strange as we haven't won much in a while
I am not surprised. They wish they were us, but they are not us, and they will never be us. It must eat at you.

My theory is that we are envied by West Ham because our success is more replicable than Chelsea or Arsenals , A sugar Daddy is a luck dip and Woolwich had success in the late 80s and early nineties and were already light years ahead of Spam and their massive upturn inform came in the late nineties before social media was even a thing , at the time of the dawn of Social media we'd been a dormant perennial also ran club for the best part of the last twenty odd years occasionally threatening to be decent but more often flirting with relagation who in the long term had always been better than West Ham but not always in the short term , in the full glare of the ever growing media they've sat and watched us grow and prosper under a project built on solid foundations whilst they've scrapped and floundered under various brain dead projects built on quick sand , failure to develop a good side out of the best group of youth team players of it's generations or the proceeds from it , the great Tevez and Mascherano scandal , Glenn Roeder & Abram Grant , the biscuitst barons and liquidation , Carrick Defoe Kanoute & Parker sold for peanuts , the Porno saga and the seven year plan to turn West Ham into Bayern munich , the shitbowl and no doubt many more embarrasing episodes , we on the other hand have cpme back stronger from every set back built by far the best academy in london developed countless young players from other clubs and by and large played good to great football since 2005 and witnessed some of the world's best players in our colours. I believe West Ham chose us because we were a realistic aim for them to topple at the start of The Spurs is our cup final movement us slowly building something year on year coupled with their constant one step forward 2 step back approach to running a club has really intensified the bitterness to epic proportions.

Yes of course. The point I was making is that we all have our idiots. We (Chelsea) obviously have more than some other clubs, but every club has them.
Mate it's in your DNA of a supporter base. Your club more than another (high profile) in England, it's been with you for best part of 50yrs. It's not a sprinkling of people, it's many and there hasn't been a single season without it showing it's head.

Every season without fail your fans shame your club.

Yes all clubs have idiots, a football club merely reflects society at large so it would be strange if there weren't any.
