The scouting department has been revamped/sacked twice in 18 months, so you can definitely make the case the club feels that things had not been good enough on that front. And the lack of activity may stem from the time it takes to rebuild a group capable of delivering the required product.
Exactly. Having young players coming through who already know how to play our way when they get a chance is amazing.
