Poch, don't go to a game with Jim Shite he is 'class A' wanker.

Anyway how can anyone interpret that interview the wrong way? For me the most interesting point was:

"Now the others have spent their money it's our turn"

Clearly us looking at any players, perhaps from an obscure source will prompt the player's agent to see who else is interested, if those other clubs still have funds and a gap in their squad we are likely to lose out. It's like poker and making sure not to show your hand too early. To me that sounds very clever. Now the big teams have spent and filled their squads it's our turn to spend, safe in the knowledge we're less likely to be gazumped.

Also if Poch was pissed with Levy would he really laugh at the suggestion the pressure is on "Daniel"?

As for selling other players, we don't need the money but will listen to offers if they come in but we only sell who we want to. This doesn't mean we're selling but if Barca offered £150M for Dele it would be mental to not consider it even if you decide against it. It's just logical and doesn't for a moment suggest we're going to sell anyone, just a rather levelled and grown-up way of looking at things.

I feel a bit better after that interview, nothing new and the same story but nice to hear it again.

People do get pretty pissed off with journos to be fair. Look at the slatings pundits get in the media bias thread.

The difference is that at least a journo is trying to earn a living from playing devils advocate and being provocative.

What's in it for someone hiding behind a fake name, that no one can trace any leak to, putting out crap and pretending they can't say more to protect their make believe source?

If you want to leak info, then leak it. If you don't, then don't.

People with nothing to tell, telling us nothing, and for some reason people believe the nothing info they have been given.

I don't understand this logic.

Let's imagine your best mate is Levy's PA. He/she has confidentially agreements and would be sacked (and probably lose their career) if they were found to leak information.

They give you a subtle hint at someone that has been talked about as a signing, but have to be vague in case it comes back to them.

You'd have to be a right twat to drop them in it, and it's hardly narcassim to share?
