What was the need to throw the ball out and try and break so quickly. That's not our game and we seem to struggle defensively when we play like that.

You can't say they were lucky to come away with 3 points after fielding 8 defenders? After having 2 shots on target? After scoring a goal that Hugo saves 99 times out of 100? After having 30% possession and conceding 14 corners?

Come the fuck on we were value for AT LEAST a point there. 3 points in a world where footballing ambition gets results.
 
Fuck Chelsea anyway they won't win it again and their days are numbered they've no history of improving players or bringing them through they just buy the finished product except now the price is a bit rich even for Romans blood thus the playing field has levelled a bit they'll be done by the 20s.

I agree we did well overall. It was in the final third that we couldn't convert.

Ben Davies had one hell of a game. Both offensively and defensively.
 
Just realised we ended up with 2 defenders on the pitch out of 11 fucking players.

Sanchez can't come in quick enough.

They had a game plan and they did it well. Willian was very dangerous on the break all game, and he hit the post.
We were worth at least a point though, I agree with that. Very strange game.
 
Such a deflating result but it's not the end of the world. We played well but were unlucky. Kane should've scored plus the refs were shit, and first matches for Trippier and Wanyama. We'll regroup and smash Burnley next week and put four past them.

But Wembley experience will be better for us long term. All we have to do is keep on growing and taking it up a notch like we have been.

Need to continue scouring the globe for the best youngsters to bring in every transfer window. We're still the same team we were 2 hours ago
 
Not sure why Poch wants to keep Janssen if he's not going to use him. Sissoko added nothing. Wanyama was terrible on the ball and Lloris gave up his annual shit goal at the worst possible time.

Dominated majority of the game but we could only manage an own goal by Chelsea. Just not good enough.

I'm not really worried about our form or playing at Wembley, and it's far too early for for any bold proclamations, I'm just really frustrated because Spurs were the better side but got nothing out of it.
