No panic... I got a DeadPoll voucher from my family for my birthday (strange prezzy, i thought, but hey musta cost a fortune so i guess they love me, eh!)...

Just needs to work out which of the new guys gets the re-dub:

I think Davinson Bastard-Peters has a very classy ring to it, no?

Or maybe were overlooking classic simplicity... Harry The-Bastard (The additional -Peters...? ....Too much, daaahling?)

I quite like Peters-Bastard-Sanchez (too much??)

or go with Moussa/Hugo Bastard??

I'm gonna be pretty bummed out if Vinny doesn't go somewhere on load. He'd be wasted on the bench as a 3rd choice up front.

If he fights and does well he'll have every chance of being first choice. It's down to him and his capacity to learn, not allow himself to get defeated and rise above it all. That's what he's there for.

Keep it up Vinny, Llorente is going to act as a great guide for you to develop if you allow him to. Keep going

Let's be honest with ourselves, there is no way he's going to get a chance to make an impact now with Llorente here

But we haven't signed anyone with pace, we didn't spend enough, we waited too long...

#LevyOut

waiting for some cunt to agree without reading the spoiler

Well 24hrs ago it was pretty obvious that the Llorente story was bullshit. Everyone on here knew it straightaway and called it.

Too old, too slow, entirely not what the squad needed and against what Poch was trying to build.

Fast forward 24 hrs

Yet again it is proved, that as fans.......

We. Know. Nothing.

For some reason part of me feels if Janssen had went to Brighton and got regular playing time he would've scored a ton and we would've be wishing it was a loan move. But as it stands, I can't see how he will win this fight. It could go one of two ways though. Like Dawson or like Son.

It just hasn't worked for Janssen (so far). He actually got the perfect chance to establish himself with Kane's injury but he simply didn't take that opportunity and didn't impress enough to be given the starts when Kane got injured again. Genuinely not even sure he'll make the bench for quite a few games considering I doubt we'd need Janssen, Llorente and Son on there.

Don't know what to make of him turning down a loan move to Brighton. On the one hand I like that he wants to keep trying here but he should realise he needs consistent minutes to get back to his best and that simply won't happen this season at Spurs.

I can't believe he's decided to stay here. He should have jumped at the Brighton offer - most Spurs rejects end up going to God awful places like Hull or Sunderland, and he could have gone somewhere nice like Brighton and get a chance to play regularly. He'll just be a EFL cup player here at best.

Vincent is more like Llorente than Llorente is like Kane. If there's anyone that Vinny boy can learn off of it'll be someone like Llorente
