Match Wet Spam v Tottenham Hotspur

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hmm, i have to say Billic has got it right against us the last couple of times weve played them away. Pressed us like madmen which we dont really like when the shoe is on the other foot. Poch should learn from that and set up accordingly.

Like sammyspurs sammyspurs says though, both times we've been desperate for a result to keep our "league title hopes" alive.

No Lanzini is a good thing. He has been their form player against us the last few years.

On that note, I was on the last train home last night and one of them was on it. Unfortunately he missed his stop because although the light was flashing on the doors he kept pressing the 'close' one. Then went into one at the conductor because he couldn't get off.
Had to go 2 further stops to the end of the line to try and get a cab as the train isn't scheduled for passengers on the return.

Their intellectual leader then?

Since Dembele is rested for CL, Wanyama injured I'll go for

[formation=433, Lloris, Aurier, Toby, Verts, Davies, Sissoko, Dier, Winks, Eriksen, Kane, Dele][/formation]

Sub: Vorm, Trippier, Sanchez, Dembele, Son, Nkoudou, Llorente

Agree with most of that but get Sissoko right in the middle, tell him to ignore passing it right or left and to run right at the heart of their leaky defence
They won't cope with him and Harry and Dele will make a killing

Really up for this game!!

Yep, it's very good that Lanzini is out - especially as we don't have Big Vic to sit on him. I think I'd prefer to see 3-at-the-back again, rather than a back four. I wouldn't want to see Sanchez miss this game. It'll be useful to have him up against Carroll. Keen to see how the Aurier / Arnautovic battle will pan out.

I can't see us playing a counter-attacking game in general, against West Ham. They're unlikely to be drawn out, leaving gaps in behind, at least until they're a goal or two down. It'll be more like Dortmund were set up: Centre-backs on the half-way line, probing and tiring the opponents out, hopefully not getting stung on the counter ourselves so much.

I have no clue how it's going to pan out. I was fairly sure we'd win last season. Ballsed that right up!

I have noticed a trend on other teams forums that "if you get in Dele Ali's face he is a red card waiting to happen" / "Ali is a liability" etc.

Number of prem games 75, number of red cards 0.

I know he has been lucky once or twice but the way people are going on about it he has a red every other game.

Come on chaps, only nine pages of gratuitous abuse for a team you "Don't give a fuck about." Last year there were seventy +. Maybe you are a bit wary of boasting how superior you are following last year's defeat.

Wet Spam? Was this thread started by a 10 year old?
This is new! Statistical analysis of a Spurs fan forum page, doesn't just check number of pages but also goes back over the recent history, that's dedication for ya. What. A. Cunt.

West Ham wanted to team up with Millwall when they came to The Lane to "walk around a bit" and "get to the station" after the match.

West Ham celebrated Chelsea winning the PL

West Ham celebrated a last minute Leicester penalty against their own team as it meant points for Leicester

West Ham sang ars.nal songs about them beating Wigan and us to top 4

West Ham have no dignity, no rivals, no nothing. A good season is Spurs not winning anything while they latch on to every other teams coat tails as some kind of victory for them.

Wembley for one season. OS is for 100 years while Upton Park is dust. No legacy, no heritage, no memories, just rubble.

In just 11 months, when we go back to walking down Seven Sisters and drinking in our old pubs, and eating at our old chippies, like we have for generations, West Ham will still be travelling (excuse the pun) to Stratford, to watch games 40 meters from the pitch because their owners lied to them and sold them a(nother) false dawn.

One thing that stands out is that no amount of sideways clapping and Burberry will hide the deadness in their eyes when they talk about their games on West Ham TV.

Thats due to lack of belief and a resignation that it will always be shit. The one thing they had, a proud traditional club, is gone. There is nothing more tragic than lacking the only thing that can pull you through. Hope.

I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.
