What I meant was what I wrote.....and what I wrote was that its possible for us sign good players, but it will be difficult to persuade them to come if so many players are undroppable.

So, not for the first time, you are making no sense.

Not read this bit through but very few players ever rise to the rank of undroppable and on that basis I tend to see it like this.

All top clubs need a working squad of 20 players, with space for 2 or 3 from the academy/under 21's.

I think we are close to that but arguably need slightly better quality or a couple of extra options. That is not easy but nor is it impossible and I think potential targets know that.

But players get injured, lose form (Alli earlier this season), need resting, motivating by competition etc. We cannot be successful if the gap between our 'best' 11 and the next best is too big for too long as far as the Premier League is concerned.

I also think players with ability do not sign for a club like ours without believing they can take the place of the supposed incumbent/s.

He probably wants minutes, not to watch Kane score goals.

I agree, but I think he could actually get some minutes with us - he's more suited to us than Llorente, for example! He's a hard worker, he's fast and strong, works the channels really well - would only benefit from training and playing along with Kane (the two could definitely start together).

I have no doubt if Jansen wasn't so shit, we would have seen him and Kane play together more often / brought on earlier in games.

Having said all that, you're right though, he's probably best staying at Forest and getting a lot more experience for at least another season.

So five people think when Toby comes back we will drop Sanchez

:pochfacepalm:

The only reason we are playing 4 up top is because there is a space in the start 11.

Son will be benched, the back line will revert to Jan Toby and Sanchez.

We will use any two of the wing backs, with a central midfield of Wanyama and Dier/Dembele/Winks/Sissoko and a front three of Eriksen, Dele and Kane.

Can you five explain what you disagree with on that, and why you think CM is a priority position when we have 5 players playing for 2 positions.

Crikey I've heard it all now.

Let spend "first and foremost" in the most densely populated part of the squad.
It's pretty obvious one of the DMs will drop as only an idiot would drop our second most potent attacking player on a hot-streak form

Deary me

:pochfacepalm:

Plus Son has been our second most potent striker for the last 18 months and Poch has still benched him. Maybe you feel Poch is a fool.

And you were happy for Son to sit on the bench before Toby got injured and we went 4 up top. You disagreed that a certain player needed benching for Son. Oh dear, you are outdoing yourself today

Deluded much? Making up hypothetical scenarios in your sick little head? You need help, fella

We need a much more creative CM. That's our biggest issue. Think a back 3 or 4 will work with someone who can play one touch and move the ball on quickly in general. None of this take 4 touches and then show the opposition where you're going to pass it rubbish that we do currently.

Errrr - yes, as it is two completely different positions

Thats funny because Ive seen us play with practically every single combination of CM pairing we have:
Sissoko and Wanyama, Sissoko and Dier, Dier and Wanyama, Wanyama and Winks, Dembele and Winks, Dembele and Dier, Dembele and Sissoko, Dembele and Wanyama.........

Not so completely different are they at this club.

What would everyone say is our strongest line up with all fit?
Playing 3 at the back I'm struggling to fit everyone in!

The back 3 and wing backs pick them selves, obviously the argument over Davies and Rose exists but on best form it's Rose every dAy for me,

Lloris
Sanchez Toby verts
Airier Rose

This is where I now get stuck as the players I think must start are Eriksen, dele, wanyama/ Dier / dembele son and Kane

Obviously this doesn't work for one it's more than 11 players!
For teams that park the bus I would like to see us play the traditnal back 3 with wingbacks above and either wanyama/ dier / dembele as a DM
And play eriksen / dele / son
Kane
When everyone is fit we acutally have a good bit of COmpetetion for places But we still need someone who is going to compete / play alongside Kane competition for Eriksen and Dele and a replacement should Rose go (sessegnon)

I don't even know that any of this means tbh
