Why would they loan a left back if they were keeping Sessegnon? Unless of course they want to push Sessegnon forward and see how Targett does with a view to signing him permanently in the summer with Sessegnon money..

We were linked in the summer, but Barca wouldn’t allow him to leave due to failing to get Coutinho. Now he’s been signed they will need to offload. Looking at highlights it seems he’s a very strong and direct centre mid, almost Dembele like. Gomes and Wanyama could be a great partnership.
Gomes, Sessengon and Moussa Dembele would be a lovely window.

You want to see that kind of togetherness we seem to have in our squad and yet there is still a missing ingredient that just stops us at the biggest/key moments.

Not saying i agree with those 5 people completely. But Sissoko is as good as finished for us and Dembele is certainly aging and is so injury prone. That leaves, Wanyama, Winks and Dier to cover 2 vacant CDM positions. I wouldn't say that's much depth at all to be honest and I do think we need to add to it.So five people think when Toby comes back we will drop Sanchez

The only reason we are playing 4 up top is because there is a space in the start 11.
Son will be benched, the back line will revert to Jan Toby and Sanchez.
We will use any two of the wing backs, with a central midfield of Wanyama and Dier/Dembele/Winks/Sissoko and a front three of Eriksen, Dele and Kane.
Can you five explain what you disagree with on that, and why you think CM is a priority position when we have 5 players playing for 2 positions.
