And why bother being the minority voice at Spurs when you could be the Director of Football elsewhere? Hence Mitchell and Mackenzie both left.I agree in principle.
But the Poch / Levy relationship is like delicately balanced symbiosis, the introduction of a third species could end up destroying it.
We have played that expermenit out a few times before with mixed results. The appointment would be just as much about personality and the acceptance of being back seat driven by Levy as it would be about ability or experience
But it's a problem, because for all of their strengths, neither Levy nor Pochettino have the time or talent to be amazing at scouting new players. We need someone else to do that, as we can't afford to fuck it up, our margin for error is too small.
