But he's right though Joe, it was heading to be a classic England result until Harry stepped in to make it different.

Missed chances for us , a goal out of nowhere for them, it was heading to be the same old same old, and the change in the result had nothing to do with the manager.
Get a grip man. It's no a 38 game campaign. All you need to do is limp from one victory to the next.

I’m no fan of the manager, but we outplayed them and deserved the win. We need forwards who can finish - that much is obvious.

Let’s be honest if that finished 4-0 no one could of argued. We should of had 2 penalty’s and there’s was very soft. Lingard also missed two sitters and I think stones it was also missed one after Harry should of had his first pen. We where flat second half but it was always gonna be hard to break down a side with 10 men behind the ball. Overall great result ok performance, nice to see Trips and Kane be England’s main men also. Ps Sterling really was shit drop him for Rashford me thinks

Us Spurs fans should know the bolded part by now

The celebrations were over the top. This was Tunisia. Results always cover cracks.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but England haven’t exactly been great in international tournaments over the last couple of decades or so.

If a team (of very young players) can’t go wild after scoring a late winner in a World Cup match, when can they? I think we played superbly up until the penalty, but kept going and got a deserved winner.

It’s not really painting over the cracks. It’s working with them and being pleased when despite the cracks you get to hang a great big fuck off painting of Kane winning the game in dramatic circumstances.

Oddly enough this game will probably do more to fire up the players and fans than a textbook 2-0 stroll in the park.
