Yeah nah he looked very iffy in the group games. Do not want. It's not hard to look good when the team you're playing is missing their best player and most creative outlet and thus decides to ping long balls up the field to an ageing and declining Falcao (against 3 CBs too). Might as well go after Mina because he looked just as good if not better throughout the tournament (not really a fan of him either because he was out of position a lot and was covered by a brilliant Sanchez for 3/4 games). The moment the ball was on the ground and players were running at him he didn't look confident at all and made quite a few mistakes against the likes of Tunisia and Panama. He didn't set the world on fire at Leicester either this past season.

We have to get some more English blood back into the squad so in Poch I trust!
We have Japhet tanganga, Brooklyn lyons-foster and Timothy eyoma in the academy, all of whom are really highly rated. Just play them in cup matches and bring them through. It annoys me when we go out and sign other team's English players when we have our own, most of whom love the club a whole lot more than those guys ever will. Obviously if they're incredibly highly rated like Dele or sancho then go for it but signing average to potentially decent players because of their nationality should be discouraged

Kicker started a rumour that we have bid 50m Euros for Pulisic - makes a lot of sense ... getting it done whilst the World Cup / Football / Spurs are big news in the US also makes good sense ....

Adding arguably the best USA prospect to our squad will build on our USA exposure, an obvious key part of our growth strategy, and at age 19 he may well (under Poch) prove to be a very good player .... it's just a rumor but I could see this happening .... it should be noted that if he signs at age 19 and stays three years until he's 21 he will qualify as a 'Club-Trained player' ( a player who was on a club's books for three years between the ages of 15 and 21 ) he then qualifies as a 'Home Grown player' under UEFA CL rules, that 'Home-Grown' status would also apply for any other EPL club, this potentially would increase his value immensely .... and you know DL likes that ......
