Seriously don't understand the people making excuses for Sterling on social media.

Sterling has the finishing of a double amputee and the passing of a school in liverpool...

They did, but this lady ate it:

If Carlsberg made bras

I was going to say that I’ve woken up with worse but I haven’t
Honestly

I agree he's important to how England play but he also deserves critism for his total lack of composure at critical moments , he's worse than Theo walnut in terms of end product and could easily have been in contention for player of the tournament if the brain fog didn't descend upon him in the vital moments.
Wallcott did nothing fr any team he played in, he was easy to defend against, had no positional awareness, never integral in the shape and build up in both with and without the ball, a myth of a player.

I've no problem with calling him out for saying what he should have done when 1v1, but people ain't, the rhetoric is "he's shit". When he absolutely isn't shit, he's vital to us winning a game of football, absolutely vital.

The feelling is like he can fuck up the whole tournament, and he'll get pass from regular people because media abused him.
I'm sorry but he's dumbest player I've ever seen (with that much talent). Guardiola saved him.

SSN showed a clip of an interview Henry had with Sterling earlier in the year. Sterling said he is prone to make errors when he has to much time to think about things.

Thank you very much, I hope so too!

Believe it or not though, England's progress has cheered

Think of that scene in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest when Mac is 'describing' the events of the World Series baseball game. Getting all the boys riled up and full of beans.

It's been very emotional in here, let me tell you. I'm going home this afternoon though then the long road to recovery begins.

If England go all the way it would be great but it's not as important as health, nothing is.

Seriously, if I wrote a story about it people would just accuse me of ripping off Cuckoo's Nest but it's all true.

One guy is convinced his cat can talk and planned on going for a run tomorrow once he gets out!

I think vital is a overstating his impact but agree he's important and needs to start , was only comparing his end product to Walcott , my problem with Sterling is it's a game of fine margins and if he needs 5 gilt edges chances to score or assist one goal ultimately its going to cost us, and kind of makes a lot of the good stuff he does redundant.

The point I'm trying to make is we are wining games because of his contribution (he is NOT the sole reason, it's a genuine team effort) oppo defenders do not want to play against him, if he went off yesterday and Rashford or Vardy came on they would have breathed a sigh of relief. What he does neither Rashford or Vardy can do, add RLC to this list too, when they come on they have they advantage of running at tiered legs (with fresh ones themselves), every time the control and threat has gone from our game, we've looked a bit shit. The oppo fear has gone and dare I say they now feel braver to push on, happy that they can handle who has come on.

Now, if Lallana was fit and available then he would have a contender for his role as both have similar qualities (Lallana without the running ability but probably slightly better on the ball).

So he scores prolifically
He didn't squander a guilt edged opportunity
He's not as good at some of the things the video says he is
And Kane didn't provide invaluable support play?
Every point I made, right?

Mate
He isn't in the team to score goals Mick, you seem to think that he is.
He is.
Kane was fucking brilliant yesterday, funny because there are actually loads of people who though he was shit yesterday because he didn't score, you know the ones that think he is in the team to just score goals, like those that might think Sterling is in the side to just score goals and judge him sole on this metric. Fucking bankers right?
Read all my other posts I listed everything else what he does and consent do. As I said, if you can't see it, not prepared to see it you NEVER will.

No need to continue.
