Fair enough. It's quite an impressive stat - and one that highlights how uncharacteristically bad we were.
You can’t just cross the ball every single attack. That was such an avb performence just working it around the box getting it wide and putting hopeful balls in the box.
Lacked that pace to get to the byline, hindsight is wonderful but this was a game for Rose or Aurier today.
Our discipline was the most worrying thing though, continuously giving away cheap fouls around the box was eventually going to hurt us.
At 1-1 wanyama or dier should of come on immediately to restore some order.
Fucked off, weekend ruined.

The seemed much more than a Pulis team. Actual fast pace attacking power in the midfield that took a lot of us off guard.
Yeah they might be better than Brighton and Palace but that doesn't change the fact that we played like shit. Several players were on sleeping pills today, Moura was the only one trying to make things happen. That's not acceptable if you want to win the league. You have to try and win every game.
But we're making consistent progress ......we make the semis and get knocked out every year you cant beat that consistency!

I can’t argue with that. Dele and Kane seemed like they had a lead boot on.
No one in their right mind thought easy but there is a world of difference between thinking easy and playing badly.

I hate criticising the guy but it really is painful how average he is. Having a quick athletic left wing back in the mould of Mendy/Robertson would transform us as a team, and there are plenty out there.
He's a backup left back playing as a first team player that's the problem
We lost because of poor defending at corners, not through being torn open in open play. Yes, after Watford scored their first we got sloppy - or more accurately, rather panicky as they tossed balls into the area from all angles. IF we had kept the corners out of the goal I have no doubt that as Watford pushed for an equaliser we could well of snatched a second. Up until their first goal they had presented no real problems. Not at our best today, but good enough to beat Watford if game management had been better.
Absolutely right to give credit to Watford. They hung in there and they turned it around well.
As for our own team - they let themselves down from Man to man.
Danny Rose has his best game in the last year for us today before he actually came on the pitch.

Fucking dogshit. Very very disappointing performance. I feel like I've seen this tape before, of us looking to simply coast through a game that is still very much alive and then getting rattled by the more energetic/physical/direct/clinical opposition. This game was absolutely winnable but never ever looked easy or comfortable at any point, and we should not have allowed it to drift so far after we got the lucky goal. A perfect start to the season was there for us to take and what a huge boost it would have been, but the same old issues are still here. The barebones bench is an obvious one, but it wasn't just that, we could have still been more proactive with our subs and tactics. Also, too many players looking tired or in bad form: Kane completely absent; Dele and Eriksen indecisive and slow; good effort from Lucas but ran out of space and ideas eventually; and Dembele....I was thinking to myself early in that second half about how over the course of the season we need to protect him cause he just can't do it to the same level anymore and we shouldn't rely on him much, and all that kind of thing, and within minutes he was just gone; completely overran and out-muscled, and as usual very slow and unproductive with his passing throughout. Central midfield remains a huge problem for us, and it's getting tedious even mentioning it. And another one for the bingo card: We still need a substitute for Kane. Whether it's to relieve him of the physical demands or to put pressure on him for his form, it's suicidal that we are gambling on this for yet another season. I was all for embracing the no signings thing and going YOLO, but when you lose this frustratingly in a situation that was screaming for reinforcements to give us ideas and energy, it really puts it into stark view just how stretched we are. It's gonna be a tough old season for us to even maintain our place, let alone do anything better.

Honestly we were in a modicum of control, scored a fortuitous goal and then succumbed.
You can win league titles by losing a game or two but you invite unneeded questions when you do and make your next set of games that much harder.
Whatever quality it takes I am not quite sure we have it.
