Not according to the Spanish tax payer.Madrid signed Mendy for another 50 mil. Surely they’ve run out of cash for Eriksen by now?

I haven't heard this before but I like the idea.A well known tweeter saying what I suggested a few months is now in process.
Nabil Bentaleb buy back clause being activated ( circa £24m)
- 24 year old with CL experience ( played CL last 16 with Schalke this season)
- Club trained
- Poch knows him well, he knows Kane and others well so minimal integration required
- Mainly played CM or DM in double pivot under Poch, used to play as AM in Spurs youth.good tackler passer knows how to press and get assists. What's not to like
Add him to Ndombele and Lo Celso as midfield (CM and AM) and probably done there - still need Kane deputy after Llorente leaves but that might be AM/striker.
Liverpool I agree with but Not having that city example at all. Delph and Foden don't expect to start and Zinchenko is now a recognised LB. Not comparable to ours at all.I don't see why we couldn't.
We may not be able to compete with the two teams, we're trying trying to catch up to, in terms of fees and wages just yet, but we should be able to in terms of demanding that players are part of a big squad. And if they don't play, they need to up their game. That's the talk Poch has always done, and now that he's started talking of becoming more ambitious in the market, it also should apply to squad depth as well, and Poch should not just talk the talk, but walk it in terms of proving, he can manage a full squad, where everyone has top quality and wants to play all the time, while not doing so.
City have Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne, David Silva, Delph, Zinchenko, and Foden, so 5-7 depending on how many you'd consider having engine room as their primary position, while Pool have Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Having five 6's and 8's in a 25-man squad isn't at all unreasonable.

They never run out of cash. A bit like us. But we don’t spend.Madrid signed Mendy for another 50 mil. Surely they’ve run out of cash for Eriksen by now?
Lyon bought Ndombele last summer. No way they would sell him after just one loan seasonYa, I have no idea (obviously), but there has been so much more news relating to Ndombele this window that I feel like we were just kicking the tires last year but he wasn't going anywhere. I mean that article mentions Man City, too, and I imagine if he was for sale and they wanted him it would be done.
That's there Griezmann replacement I guess...But I think Lo Celso wants a premiership move.

Because Lyon were not in a position where they needed to sell, Betis are. They spent almost their entire transfer budget on buying out Cetiene and buying their new manager from Espanyol. Why not?
That's what we're asking Betis to do with Lo Celso, aren't we?
I think we should move van de Beek and bentaleb off that list, and concentrate on an actual DM target.When you break it down;
Wanyama - is he good enough?
Dier - Should be a centre half, but is good depth.
Dele - much more suited to a second striker position.
Eriksen - Wasted when in a deeper position, plus question marks over his future.
That leaves us Winks, Sissoko and potentially NDombele as our only natural centre mids. We need one more on top of that, whether that Tielemans, Van de Beek, Bentaleb or Lo Celso.
Onomah isn’t counted as he needs to be sold. Skipp needs more time.

Going off that list we aren’t looking at any serious DM’s like eg: Diawara.
That would be a big mistake, Ndombele and Tielemans are not out and out DM’s.
But for now I will just be happy if we can get Ndombele done and worry about the rest later.
I mean fake account but ya...check out “Tommy Scottwell”s other tweets.
What about this Sander Berge lad from Genk?I think we could get away with Winks and NDombele against bigger clubs personally. Two players who are comfortable on the ball and do there fair share of defensive work, even if neither are out and out defensive midfielders.
But I would like a DM too. Diawara is going cheap.
