Poch took time out before becoming a manager to get an MBA so whilst he doesn't have Levy's practical experience of finance he's perfectly capable of understanding Spurs financial situation.
Not sure we are regressing but certainly true we want some reinforcements, and I think Levy knows that too - in order to make the £1bn investment in stadium and training facilities produce big money he needs to get lots of paying spectators and good runs in CL so buying a few players is a business necessity. That's why we will buy this TW
We had more losses in the league this year than the last two seasons combined and we barely scraped into the top four, we are regressing, there is absolutely no doubt about it.
We have a squad that is also getting older as well and will soon need some of its main components replacing (Verts, Toby for example.)
I admire your optimism mate and whilst I think Levy is very good at making money you only have to look at some of his past decisions from the footballing side of things to know that he isn't the best in that regard.
I don't even think he knew Poch would turn out to be as good as he is, I think it is crucial that we buy but Levy seems stuck in the past in regards to fees and transfers, it's his weak spot, that's why we worked better under a DOF imo.
