It perplexed Celtic fans at the time. Guess it's because people were unsure of his level due to playing in the SPL. Just admit it sammy, you are wrong. He's not a shit player and wasn't a shit player at Celtic either. Your massive ego is getting in the way
He wasn't a great player at Celtic either and was part of the worst Celtic team in the past 20 years. Their success was due to Rangers being demoted to the 3rd division.

He's a player who has developed and plays a certain type of football very, very well indeed. He's in his prime and will be for the next 2 to 3 years. He has become a defender worthy of praise and has shown he can step up.

Still a scouse rat bastard playing under a speccy, four eyed hateful bastard.

The massive is irony is that your ego wont allow me to disagree with you.

I think hes shit, so go and cry one off somewhere else, you´re fucking boring mate

If we just ended up signing Ndombele but was able to keep hold of all of our current squad bar the ones we want rid of would we take that right now? Toby & Eriksen stays and only Ndombele as the guy coming in anyone? Realistically I think I'd take that right now even if it isn't enough to kick us on.

Ndombele comes in, Eriksen extends and Toby opts against a move for another season. I think we'd be set up pretty well seeing as that midfield hole gaped for a season.

He would make a good traffic cone - not just because they're wearing orange.
All I'm getting from this, is that he doesn't appear to be a player they look to get the ball to. And City passing bypasses the midfield a lot so make of that what you want.

He's just a rich mans Zokora... rich mans Zokooooora!

I must have said this half a dozen times, but that takes us to the point we were at the end of 2017-18, when we were crying out to replace Dembele.

That's just one of the problems with the strategy that a number here cooed over, what you first see as strengthening is really getting back to a point in the past.

And like I said the other day, we made an unexpected 150 milion (well less, shall we say 110 million on top of the expected group-stage dicking) by getting to the European Cup final) - given that the ground's financing was all accounted for prior to that we're hardly a little club having to scrape modest transfer fees together
