Ndombele would be an amazing signing, potentially our best ever, but he's still only plugging a gap in the squad that should have been filled last Summer. We still desperately need a new right back, we desperately need a new defensive midfielder, and desperately need a new attacking option. And that's before we factor in sales of Toby or Eriksen.
Getting in Ndombele would be an amazing piece of work by the club, but if he's all that's brought in this Summer it'll be another failed window.
On the topic of Ndombele
Realistically how much before sales can and should the gaffer expect then? We are looking at at least 10-15 years of automatically shaving £60m off of any budgets to pay off the stadium and loan interest which needs to be taken into account as well.
I think a budget of £50m each window moving forward is pretty fair given our circumstances, this summer around due to our ridiculous run in the Champions League I say the boss should get £100m to do his little rebuild, especially as he spent zilch last summer and made a rumoured £11m back in the sale of the big Moose.
Much will depend on how much we can get from scruffy peripheral players like Janssen, Nkoudou, Onomah, CCV and one of our RBs.

Berge or Diawara would be top prospects for the first team in DM. I lean more towards Diawara though but Berge has such impressive feet for such a big unit.
