I keep hearing this response, is nobody allowed an opinion until the window is closed?
What's the point of this thread even existing if we all have to just wait until the window is closed to have an opinion?
I am not saying the worst is going to happen I am simply saying what I think, letting Trippier go is a mistake imo because our backup options are worse and even if we sign a player better than him I think Trippier would be our best backup option off the bench.
If we got a new RB and had Trippier as a bench option that would be the best case scenario, if we sell him now that means we have KWP and Aurier and a possible new signing to come in and hopefully hit the ground running (which is no guarantee and it's also no guarantee he will be better than Trippier, as Aurier has proven already.)
It makes no sense to sell off a player who is currently our best option at RB and take a risk on someone coming in and being better whilst also weakening our options from the bench.
I don't need to wait for the window to close to think selling Trippier is a mistake because he is currently our best RB option (even if I think he isn't very good.)

and Norwich this week signed another right back. Sam ByramThe telegraph or someone reported he did but the club never released anything....
Tripps first season he played 6 premiership games... the second 12, the most he has averaged is 27 which was last season, of which Aurier missed nearly a third due to his hamstring.
I've heard fans in the ground moaning about him but not collective boos, still think it filters through...
I wasn't planning on dusting the violins down, just wishing him well for the future seems to work hard, not moan but takes it hard when he's made a mistake or not performed - clearly cares.
Comparing him to Mason is a bit random tbh, totally different situation, you can wish a player well without them having to come to a tragic end.
Spurs haven't made a bid for Saliba, just enquired. No way we pay £30m for a player and loan him back for a season. So ... Trippier gone
Saliba (aka Salina) supposed to favour a move to the nomads.*
Ceballos supposed to favour a move to the nomads.*
*According to SSN.
I hope DL has some rabbits to pull from his hat ...
