Spot on.

Mourinho doesn't fit and that has nothing to do with his ability. We might be one level lower than what Allegri is looking for.

If I know Allegri his first goal is Real Madrid. Then Tottenham and Manchester United. The latter takes it into account only because it has a large budget but is a dangerous path: from Ferguson it does not return to high levels. If he comes to you he will ask for guarantees but not the moon.

What about it being a 98 year old man marrying a young fit blonde with huge tits before he dies , and he goes out in a blaze of glory sinking 2 viagras and fucking all night before dying the happiest he has ever been
Have you SEEN Mourinho's brand of 'WINNING' football??

No fit blonde...
No huge tits....

...sorry to disappoint you!

Why not? If Ranieri won the PL because Allegri could not do it?
I give all the credit in the world to Ranieri but this was a one off thing, like Greece winning the Euros. If anyone here suggested we get Ranieri in before he won the prem, they would have been shot. It's very unfair to expect him to go and win the prem on our resources.

Who has Allegri consistently over acheived with? Hes another example that its mainly about the players......
.Almost relegated with Calgiri then numerous titles with Juventus, the wealthiest club in Italy

When Allegri arrived at Juventus we were all "widows" of Conte (went to the national team). He was received very badly: Allegri was a former Milan player. Conte's Juventus won 3 championships with good players but in Europe (the first year did not participate, it was out of CL and EL for two seventh places in Serie A) he played timidly. Allegri brought European football and Juventus began to grow. In his first year he reached the CL final by eliminating Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Monaco and losing to Messi's Barcelona. Then he always performed very well. When it was eliminated by Real Madrid, it still won 1-3 at the Bernabeu. His only big mistake is the game with Ajax. There the marriage ended

Especially as we're not prepared to pump our players full of *performance enhancing drugs!!

(*Allegedly!!)

Is he a winner?
Don't tell me reaching CL final with Juventus is miracle. Or winning Serie A? Remember, he got burned by Ajax.

The first final was a miracle: he launched Pogba building an exceptional midfield: Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Marchisio. The year before, Juventus (di Conte) had gone out to CL and then had been eliminated in the semi-final by EL Benfica: the final would have been disputed. at the Juventus Stadium. Conte escaped like a thief in July and Juventus took Allegri as a fallback: we fans hated him.

One major signing brought in early in the last what, 3 years? Amazing backing.

Not the point I was making.

Point being, even with a full pre season, Ndombele looks lost, while 6 months ago looked top class. Maybe the lack of pre season isn't the problem with new signings, maybe it's the system they're being asked to play in, or maybe it's a managers inability to currently get the best out of what he's got (and asked for)?

Was the form player going into the Cl final (scored a semi final hat trick).

There was a 3 week break. No one was particularly sharp or on form after that. None of Liverpool players were either tbf. Besides we had one league game before that(Everton) and he was pretty lacklustre in that game tbh. The truth is that he played more mins than Son in the league last season, has been given good chances to claim a place in our XI this season too but apart from the odd goal here and there, he rarely has a convincing game for the full 90' and blew several of his chances (the Colchester game comes to mind).

Allow me to contradict you. Allegri spent five years at Juventus winning championships, reaching the CL final twice. Conte's Juventus has grown. In Italy a technician usually stays in a team for 3/4 years: there is a tendency to change. His departure is linked to the style of play: he was looking for a more offensive game and they bet on Sarri: it seems that Cristiano asked for a more offensive game. The elimination in the CL with Ajax led to the end of the report: we did not exploit the potential in the team. Allegri enhanced Dybala coming from Palermo, Pogba who came from € 0 from Man United, convinced Mandzukic to cover, Cuadrado to play on the whole right wing, etc. He is a great coach and I will always be grateful for the excellent work he has done. Don't pay attention to words: it won't stop in 2/3 years. He is Tuscan from Livorno, they are famous for talking nonsense.
Cheers for the information. Yeah I did think maybe the talk of retiring was heat of the moment. So sounds like you think he is a good man manager. Also, you say he wanted more attacking style & So did Ronaldo BUT juve got rid of him for sarri? So sarri is more attacking?

He is a good manager: he turned Conte's Juventus into Juventus 2.0 (Vidal, Tevez, Morata, Pirlo etc.) and then Juventus 3.0 up to Cristiano Ronaldo. He convinced Mandzukic to defend on the whole left wing, he had an excellent relationship with Pirlo after having let him out of Milan (it would have been impossible with Mourinho): he manages to bend for the good of society. He likes glory but he is not sick of protagonism. Sarri has a more offensive game, more ball possession, nicer to look at but there is not yet a test bench: we are at the beginning. For now I like it but will continue to like it if it goes far in CL.

Would he bring his little bell with him...? As that might help persuade Eriksen to stay, and Dele to get some form back...

Dilly ding fucking dilly dong!
