How do you know this?

Let’s look at their signings from the the summer of 2018 then shall we: THREE windows 4 players, one permanently first team, potentially two.
Kieta
Shaqiri
Fabinho
Aliison

Ours in the same period: Three windows, four players, one permanently first team, potentially three.
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Sessengon
Clarke
Convenient timing there Sammy. Who woulda thought you would contrive an argument? Not me for sure. No way would you ever do anything like that.

Why don't we measure from when each got to their respective team to when each won Silverware? Seems a much fairer endpoint my man.

Big Ear went to the gurning German and we are struggling with colchester FFS. Suck it Sammy!

The above is rubbish. Liverpool signed those 4 players in 2018 while Spurs spent £0 on players, if anything Dembele was sold for £10m or so at that period.

We signed the 3 players in summer 2019.

2018/19 Liverpool strengthened and nearly won the PL, won the CL. They finished 4th the previous season. While Spurs signed no one went from 3rd to 4th in the table.

It was not same period. End of.

They also signed Van Dijk in (January) 2018. We signed Lucas that same month.

So predictably you have no answer

I know Klopp wanted Pepe from the exact same sources that you use to gauge what’s going on at Spurs.

If you want direct quotes, then find one from Poch that says he wasn’t backed.

I can find plenty from him saying he didn’t want players that wouldn’t improve us, and the club tried its hardest though.

What you are saying is that:
Signing no one is criminal if it’s 2018
Signing no one is backing if it’s 2019

Crass.

Oh they nearly won the PL
We nearly won the CL, and knocked out the treble winners without our best player, and a stop gap central midfield.

Wasn’t the window that lost the final, or we wouldn’t have even gotten that far.

Liverpool signed no one so if they dont retain the CL, or win the PL THIS SEASON, was Klopp still backed?

How long will people cling to 2018?
Why is it now different for Liverpool?

Their signing last season were (again)
Shaqiri, Allison, Kieta, and Fabinho.

Do you think that’s why they were so good?

Perhaps they have already but you and I will never know about. Let me tell you where I am on this.
I didn't think the team would get top 4, I did think that Poch would quit. But I was ok with not getting top 4 because Poch has performed miracles. I'm happy to say I was wrong if that's what you want to hear, but I'm not taking back anything because I still have the same concerns about Poch quitting.

Which is a different from “he’s been shat on, the squad is shit and he’s been working miracles”

Liverpool 2018/19: Owners backed the managers and signed what needed. Nearly won PL, won CL.
Liverpool 2019/20: Signed no one, they don't need. Look where they are in the table. Look how they are playing.

Spurs 2018/19: £0 spent. Squeezed P4, poor run since Jan 2019. No trophy.
Spurs 2019/20: ageing CDs. No RB Tripss DM Dembeles replacements. No Striker Llorenete replacement. Look where we are in the table. Look how we are playing.

I haven’t said one person said the whole lot.
PEOPLE have claimed he’s working miracles.
You are one of them.

Some have said he’s been shat on, John Thomas is one of them.

Some have said repeatedly this squad has been neglected.

Some have said our back up is shit

Some have said the squad needs replacing
These are indisputable facts so please don’t try and pretend you haven’t heard it.

THEREFORE, your comment that nobody has said Poch has been carrying this squad, is just incorrect.

Im not interest in drawn out nonsense based on semantics where you say “but you put all the quotes in the same set of speech marks so are you saying that one person said it all and show me the quote”

Bore off

Ahhh so you have decided that because Liverpool are five points ahead of Leicester in October that their window has been a success?

Right, we will see if VVD loses form or gets a knock how smart it was to stick with Lovren as back up.
And how long Origi will carry Salah. One game out and they couldn’t win for once, barely got a look in.

Probably why Klopp wanted Pepe.....oops
