So say we ignore the net spend argument and say that ENIC have done all they could have to create success on the pitch, which over a longer period is simply inaccurate (ignoring that Liverpool have spent an absolute fortune because of player sales, hence why their net spend is so low and also ignoring that we were the only team in league football to not make a signing for two entire windows.)

Does that mean they are failing in terms of picking a manager to make best use of the assets he has been given? Does that mean they are making bad signings in comparison to Liverpool who have had more success with a similar net spend since the arrival of Poch?

Then you could argue the reason our signings aren't doing as well as Liverpools is because they are attracting a higher quality of player based on wages, something which our owners are rigid on and way below the teams above us and that could also be viewed as a failure to compete.

The reality is, whatever way you look at it, our owners are failing us as much as the manager.

If a better manager could do a better job with these exact same players, then it’s the manager who is failing.

I believe a better manager could do a better job.

Are you saying a club like Norwich should have an equal chance of winning the title because spending money has no relevance to success?

Of course not completely comparable but there are similarities, trophys not priority, top 4 is king, failed to invest in the squad at the optimum moments, investment come to late stadium the excuse.

Ultimately kronkes record of getting Woolwich in the Cl is very good , if you rate Levy for it why not give Kronke some plaudits?

What I’m saying is that above a certain level that argument goes out the window.

We are signing players on our rivals level.
VVD cost 75M because Southampton decided they were going to fuck Liverpool up the arse.
Thats why Maguire cost 85M.

In your dense head that means Maguire is 10M better than VVD.....awwwww JT did the maths.
Did we spend more than City the two seasons we finished above them?
Did Leicester?
Is Vardy better than Aguero?

Better players cost more than average ones, but we have the best striker in the world for free.
If Liverpool has Kane, they wouldn’t have shelled out 40M for Salah you fool.

Poch would have the Liverpool squad in 11th and Klopp would have us top.
That’s the point here.
