I watched a compilation of all his goals for Hull (60 in all comps) and he has scored some real good ones. Yes it is the champo but quality is quality.Won’t pretend I know much about Bowen but have watched a few interviews with him. Very level headed; refreshingly so. Seems like a real professional.
You can buy some very interesting players in the Championship though for a reasonable fee, James Maddison was £20m (now probably worth £70m), David Brooks (Sheffield United -> Bournemouth) only £11m.. As long as you buy the right players, Bowen could be such a player imo. Some clubs buy international attacking players for as low as 7.5m and we buy from fucking Championship for 20m. Hope Mourinho turns down this fella.

I definitely think that he is PL-ready (but I am not expert on Hull, he's just a guy I have kept an eye on for like 2 years since I thought he was an interesting player). Maybe not CL-ready, but he can grow into that. And having a PL ready guy on the bench means we can rotate around the CL games to give Moura a rest for example. What I like most about him is that he’s been given nothing on a plate. Worked for everything. Played at Cardiff when they weren’t being paid. Doesn’t take a thing for granted.
Would work his bollocks off. Whether he’s good enough is a different question; I’ll leave that to the experts.

We won't buy another Harry Kane there, but it could still be a smart move if he becomes a valuable and home-grown squad member who gives us some extra options upfront, especially since we play a shitload of matches every season and want to take the domestic cups serious as well now Mourinho is in charge.Club aspiring to win the title in the near future buys players from midtable Championship sides. :mourlmao:
43 for partey is worthwhile.Just seen these two absolute nuggets of release clauses. I love Troy Parrott as much as the next man, but we could do with another ready made striking option and the price makes it a no brainer, also we need a DM right?
Erling Haaland
Haaland is having a remarkable season, and he has scored 28 goals in 22 appearances so the striker is one of football’s most sought-after teenagers.
The striker is valued at around £80million but any interested club can begin negotiations with the attacker if they part ways with £17million due to his release clause.
Red Bull Salzburg are expected to receive multiple bids for him in January with Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus all interested in the 19-year-old
Thomas Partey
While Partey’s £43.5 million release clause may be the most expensive price on this list, but that figure is remarkably cheap for a player of his calibre.
The midfielder is an undisputed first choice starter in Diego Simeone’s team at Atletico Madrid and that’s some achievement.
His performances saw him linked with moves to Manchester United and Woolwich in the summer but surprisingly nobody activated the clause and Partey is still in Madrid.

Who have Liverpool bought from a midtable Championship club?
did you watch anything of Che Adams in the Championship? I don't watch a lot so have nothing to compare, who looked more ready for PL footy?
Andy Robertson mate. They bought him from the club Jarrod Bowen is currently at.
He had played one season in Premier League with Hull when he was bought by Liverpool.
Yep you and me both. Can’t see a downside for that amount and him + Ndombele could beast the midfield two and complement each other well.
