Problem is always the stricter CL squad rules where Gedson doesn't count as u21 but overseas trained etc.

Only solution maybe to leave the injured Sissoko out of CL squad on basis that he's injured and likely only to miss dates for semi finals and finals of CL - but its far from certain Spurs will get there.
Assuming that because Lloris is now fit Vorm won't be included in the ECL squad then at least 2 have to be removed before we can add one.

Real Sociedad's revenue is about 70-80 million euros per year. There is no way they can afford to turn down a fee of 25m for a player that is 28.

Its the equivalent of spurs turning down 150m for kane aged 28.
They're fine financially according to the opinions of their fans that I've seen. I can believe it, they're a wll-run club.

Fuck it, if José wants him, pay the money, 25 million seems fair enough. Give him a week training with us so that he at least makes the bench for the City game. Going into that, against a rival with defensive problems, with no striker would be criminal

agree with that - Gedson replaces Eriksen in terms of numbers.

Then there is that striker we think we need...…..

Its not about being fine or not. Its about how much can you afford to turn down.

For a player at peak value. They cant turn down 1/3 of annual revenue.

Just like I doubt we would turn down 150m for a 28 year old harry kane if it ever came up.
