Only thing if we was to get a player from China wouldn't they have to spend 2 weeks I'm quarantine?Should we sign Arnautovic just to annoy Relegation FC in Stratford?

The only reason why they would do that is because nobody at Chelsea rates him (anymore), just like they were happy to let David Luiz go to Woolwich.Could easily happen. I still can't see Chelsea willingly doing that with us though.
And throughout that whole time that success was built upon the manager's coaching of players who were mostly here when he got here. Therefore not planning and judgment of the people that remain here now. Very little was done by those people deserving of 'trust'.It's the same club whose planning over the last five years has seen us qualify for the Champions League four times consecutively, get us to the Champions League final, make multiple semi finals and one who have a really healthy financial state whilst doing so.
Thanks for making my point for me. You should have caught this before sending it out.You say they've left us with no suitable backup striker for the past five years, you do realise that during that time we've had Soldado, Adebayor, Janssen and Llorente all whilst Kane has been doing what he does right?
No, I reject your premise. I've seen maybe an hour of preseason game of this kid and I bet you've not seen much more. I will be 'honest' and say that no one knows what to expect from this kid and judging from the previous can't-miss-youthers let's say I have my doubts. And I don't trust the assessments of biased, axe-grindy 'academy c*nts' either because in my time they've built up a thousand and almost always been wrong. But they've got 2 thousand excuses as to why and at no point is it "the player wasn't good enough and my previous assessment was shit".Let's be honest Parrott looks a real prospect we don't want to be harming his progress
Agreed to a point. It is an emergency now whereas planning that would have been worthy of future trust would have prevented such a situation. Constant evolution obviates the need for revolution ie proactive work worthy of trust versus hair-on-fire reactive work worthy of concern and distrust.but with us brining in Ndombele, Lo Celso. Sessegnon. Clarke, Gedson & Bergwijn in the last 5-6 months you can see the rebuild is well underway.
This is a self-serving take. Ample evidence exists for judgment now. You can judge the process my friend and not just the ultimate result. You think I'm biting on 'ends justifying means' level of thinking? Nope. ThatWe've had a ropey season but every team does every now and then. I'll reserve my judgement on how we did until after the new guard properly settle and we see if they have the goods.
Unrelated, but put this Jack Grealish hate into my veins...possibly the most overrated player in the Prem.
Maybe with Poch but Jose would chuck them straight inOnly thing if we was to get a player from China wouldn't they have to spend 2 weeks I'm quarantine?

He's poop soup and I won't hear nothing else!!!!!Maybe because he's at.... Villa?
Unless it can be proven that there's another player fighting relegation with a better xG

You're just kissing up after that previous (Juve?) remark you made. I assume she is the Contessa? You suck up!:mourpoint:My wife is better than Llorente ....and better than Giroud too.
Which means we get Giroud.

And the whole 'harming his progress' is a bullshit point that is often made by folks hopeful that some future league 1 Bristol or Southend player can make it. If he's good enough he will earn it...like Harry...and Harry...and Tanganga. And you've just written down all those strikers taht were in front of Harry and if you could refresh my memory how'd that work out? Do you know why? Because he was good enough. QED.

I ask you this, how much trust should be engendered in not having a replacement for the physically broken down Dembele? How long did we know of his physical issues?
This is a self-serving take. Ample evidence exists for judgment now. You can judge the process my friend and not just the ultimate result. You think I'm biting on 'ends justifying means' level of thinking? Nope. Thatsammyspurs level of reasoning. This type of thinking is why processes don't get better and people keep repeating the same fucking mistakes...and the same people keep absolving responsible parties of blame.
Right here, right now is the result of a fuck up. I would say a big fuck up as well. Poch's firing was the culmination of fuck ups. Last season's league form was a fuck up that folk's whistled past because we got to a CL final. The Sammy-summer was a fuck up. The second half of the season before the Sammy-summer was a fuck up that had many a warning sign but was overlooked. Recent history littered with in process fuck ups yet somehow I'm supposed to blindly offer my trust? Nope.
I would prefer the results being sketchy but the process being perfect. There is a degree of uncertainty in transfers and chance in results. I accept that. But if you get the process right then more often than not the results will favor you. So if a ready to go senior striker were brought in but was shit (eg Willian Jose was brought in in the summer) I would be happier now than a clear fuck up in the process and chasing this guy now because we are up shit's creek. That would engender trust that those in charge recognize/foresee and are trying to address matters before they become problems. See? Process matters!
What you have my friend is faith - belief not based on proof or evidence. And I would say it is blind because recent sporting evidence is not worthy of any.
Is your builder Poch? He's having a fucking laugh.
Thats like me congratulating my builder for coming back and patching up the fucking mess he made of my extension
Giroud is better than Son/Lucas up top that's all that matters.Giroud at 33 will be better than the Llorente we got I reckon. Llorente's last genuinely quality spell as a footballer was his time at Swansea. Is Giroud younger than Nando is/ was when we signed him?
Edit, Llorente turns 35 next month, would have been 36 by the time his contract desired with us had expired. Giroud doesn't turn 34 until next season.
Difference is Chelsea hate us much more than Woolwich. The only reason why they would do that is because nobody at Chelsea rates him (anymore), just like they were happy to let David Luiz go to Woolwich.
I always like to know what "offered" means. We were sniffing around before what the hell is the difference now?
My wife is better than Llorente ....and better than Giroud too.

Just said on sky hull told palace to do one for that price !I reckon they've chucked a juicy sell on clause into it for £16m. Funny isn't it, when everyone was chucking money around a year and a half ago and we didn't a lot of people said that prices will inevitably start to drop and we'll be the ones with it safeguarded. This kid was bei linked as a £30m player before if I remember correctly? His contract is getting triggered for extension for a year but £16m for him, £25m for Bergwijn I think we are seeing a simmering at a time when teams like Woolwich and West Ham need to penny pinch due to frivolous spending.
