Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Poch did well over his 5 years, but was it him or was it mostly Dembele that made us really strong? Because ever since Dembele fell out of the starting XI, we have been shit. Under two different managers. There are so many problems beyond the manager, the squad doesn’t have the tools to dominate matches from midfield anymore.

There was a club record £55 million made available last summer to sign a central midfielder. I’d have been more in favour of getting a player with a proven track record and pedigree rather than the Danny Rose approach of a google search and coming up with an injury prone kid, who seems a bit on the soft side and only has 15-20 minutes in him, the odd time he is fit to tog out. Presumably Levy takes the blame for the Ndombele fiasco as well?

A question to the frothing lynch mob who wanted Pocchetino sacked.

We've now suffered the humiliation of a Frank Lampard double in his first season of PL management.

Is this because he's a better manager than Jose?

Or is it because he doesn't have the tools to beat Lampards shower.

Gotta be one or the other.

If it's the former, will you all hold your hands up and admit you made complete fools of yourselves.

If it's the latter, maybe you'll be happy to finally admit Poch was magic and worked fucking miracles while being hamstrung by Levy

Poch was definitely magic. Any Spurs fan who denies that is an idiot with a short term memory. He picked up a struggling Europa league team with many bad apples and transformed us into a regular Champions league team who finished 2nd in the league - all whilst being hindered by Levyonomics. None of us truly expected that from him if we’re being honest.

Moronic fans that curse Poch really piss me off. No manager is perfect and he had his faults but how can anyone deny how far he took us?

Having said all that, I still desperately want Mourinho to succeed as if he doesn’t we will slide back to being a Europa team again and if we do, I don’t envisage us finding another Poch to drag us out of that again.

I know it’s the internet and people think acting like a **** is fun but why can’t people appreciate Poch and support Mourinho at the same time. I think a lot of the posters here are unfulfilled little men who are probably dominated in all aspects of their life by other people. They live in fear and the anonymity of this forum gives them courage to try and be controversial- it makes them feel like men because, unlike the real world, here they can have opinions. They’re like toddlers who have been given a little too much leeway by their parents. I watched a Youtube video on psychology once. Trust me, I got this sh!t under lock.

Very good post.

yes.

Jose’s striker comments in the post game presser were spot on
“Look at Chelsea they played a World Cup winning striker up front, England’s second striker on the bench, and Belgium’s second striker in the stands. We had no strikers on the pitch, no strikers on the bench and two in the hospital."

Yeah, great motivational words for the team you pick to play. They must walk on the pitch feeling ten feet tall.

How is it on Jose? And do you agree it's moronic decisions like these propelling us backwards that show it's time Levy fucked off?
If Jose wanted Piatek, we would have signed him.
That’s the same thing I said under Poch...

People keep trying to create a fake scenario where Levy buys players the managers don’t want.
Jose gambled on not being stuck with a bit part striker when Kane’s fit.
He gambled on Son.

He lost

Today was the first match where I think that he got it wrong from the start AND didn't fix the issue during the match. That's concerning regardless of current squad availability.

He'll get this summer and next season at least. He's hampered a bit now but there won't be any excuses next year, or at least not good ones.
